Glo Minerals Corrective Camouflage Kit

I've spoken a good few times about how I have a slight penchant for colour correcting products.
Not so long ago I was clearing out and found a dinky little palette by Glo Minerals, inside was four colour correcting concealers. If you are looking for a great all round colour correcting palette I may have found the answer in Glo Minerals Corrective Camouflage Kit.

Glo Minerals Corrective Camouflage Kit is rather compact - it can easily fit inside the palm of my hand making it perfect for travel or simply stashing in your day to day make up bag. Truthfully the packaging is nothing to write home about - glossy black plastic, kinda cheap looking and it doesn't contain a mirror but other than that it does the job. I actually stood on mine by accident and let me tell you my foot came out worse - not a single crack on the palette. That will teach me to be careless.

So yes the Glo Minerals Corrective Camouflage Kit contains four little pans of concealer each with a different purpose. I would like to add that rather handily Glo Minerals do enclose a little booklet which such palette explaining what each shades intended purpose is: Use the yellow concealer to conceal mild redness, pink skin, under-eye circles, dark spots and black, blue and purple bruises. The mint shade has been intended to conceal redness from blemishes, scars, Port Wine Stains, and rosacea as well as red blotches. The lavender hue can be used to conceal yellow, grey and green bruises, sallow complexions and under-eye circles on deeper skin tones. The neutral option has been added to conceal general skin imperfections, minor acne and under eye circles. Now we know! I realise this may seem but apparently chalky pastel lips will be a hit this summer - you could easily use any four of the concealers to create such look. Just an idea?

On the Glo Minerals site the Glo Minerals Corrective Camouflage Kit is described as offering sheer coverage but I don't find that to be the case, I would deem it to slot more into the moderate to full category. Each shade easily covers dark circles, blemishes and so forth, they can be applied in layers without caking or appearing heavy. The consistency of each shade is creamy which in turn makes them easy to not only apply but blend out on to the skin. I wouldn't go as far as saying that the texture is weightless but it is certainly light weight and doesn't cake or look dry on the skin. Each shade does exactly what it says on the tin but if applying to the under eye I strongly recommend using a powder to set as the creamy texture will crease without that extra little touch, otherwise no wear issues what so ever.
