To kick start the weekend here is some breaking beauty news...
This weekend the 9th to be exact sees the launch of two new Karl Lagerfeld fragrances, one for men and one for women. The female version includes notes of lemon, peach, rose and magnolia and the male version includes lavender, mandarin zest, apple and violet leaves.
Guerlain will launch of three Mother's Day gift sets each designed by illustrator Peggy Moquay. Each gift contains a 50ml fragrance, body lotion and cosmetics pouch. They launch on the 14th of March.
This coming April MAC will launch Studio Sculpt Mascara "MAC Studio Sculpt Lash achieves the ultimate in sculpted lashes with a new brush that grabs each lash to produce maximum fullness and thickness for a strong, dramatic look with effortless precision. As a huge fan of both the concealer and foundation within this line I am eagerly anticipating the launch of this mascara.
Speaking of mascara Bourjois will launch their new Volume 1 seconde mascara in mid may. It is said that the mascara will features wrap-around spherical bristles/technology which coat and define each lash without clumping. It combines three active lash-morphing ingredients including carnauba and bee's waxes, as well as jojoba ester for a 16 hour hold and will come in intense black and intense black waterproof. How exciting!
For Spring 2014 Estee Lauder will launch a limited edition version of their best selling Pleasures fragrance - Estee Lauder Pleasures Flower which is said to launch in April and contain notes of lemon, orange blossom, bergamot, cassis, peony, rose, lily of the valley, jasmine, coconut water and vetiver.
Barry M will be following on from their Gelly Nail range later this month with a new lip product - Gelly Lips which will cost £4.99 each and are said to be glossy sticks of colour that combine both colour and gloss in one quick step.
