Rihanna Rogue EDP

Hand on heart I could never imagine myself liking a Rihanna fragrance, not because I am a scent snob (far from it) but based on her first three fragrance launches I came to the conclusion that they just weren't for me. Too young and to an extent too safe and then along came Rihanna Rogue and put me in my place.

People are always changing and evolving and with Rogue I wanted to switch it up to reflect who I am today,I made it for all women, for every mood, because we all want to project our true selves.”- Rihanna.

Not only does the super sleek bottle look grown up and almost high end (I feel it has been somewhat influenced by D&G) but even the ad campaign which was shot by Mario Sorrenti wouldn't look out of place scattered across the pages of Vogue. How would I describe Rihanna Rogue EDP? A warm, sensual vanilla mask based scent with the slightest fruity twist to allow it t be both fresh and playful.

Rihanna Rogue EDP has been dubbed a sensual oriental offering with notes of lemon blossom, cyclamen, jasmine, rose, plum and suede over a base of musk, woods, patchouli, vanilla and amber. The vanilla note does dominate making the scent warm and slightly sugary, despite the musky notes of amber et al this is a gentle fragrance that does linger on the skin but is soft enough for office wear. If you gravitate towards vanilla based scents be sure to check this out as I do think you will enjoy it, Rihanna fan or not.
