The Daily Beauty Report (18.01.14)

The Daily Beauty Report
I know yesterday I said that there would be no beauty news over the weekend well it seems I am mistaken and here is a summary of what is happening in the beauty world right now...

There is a new edition of Dior Poison - Dior Hypnotic Poison pencilled in for release this year, notes include: liquorice, sambac jasmine absolute, orange blossom absolute, tonka and vanilla.

Keep an eye out for in the shower (or bath) hair colour refreshers in the form of John Frida Colour Glosses. The concept is very much like a temporary wash in, wash out colourant only this version aims to deposit both moisture and colour, resulting in glossy hair.

Come March all we will be able to talk about is the beautiful new Clinique Cheek Pop Blushes each of which feature an embossed flower design. They have already launched state side and it seems the four new shades are hard to resist.

Speaking of American launches if you are lucky enough to be based there or visiting then you must investigate Marc Jacobs Beauty Spring 2014 collection which features new lip gel shades as well as a new concealer and foundation formulation. Can this brand hurry up and come to the UK already?

Six new products will be joining the Michael Kors Make Up collection but only temporarily, for spring three new glosses and nail colours will be available and let me tell you they are shockingly bright and funky but in a good sense. A lovely step out of the norm!

As a huge and I mean huge fan of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams it excites me to no end to learn that nine new shades will be joining the permanent line up. The shades include Zurich (muted rose), Athens (Beige Peach), Cairo (pure nude), Ibiza (deep rose), Prague (pink purple), Cannes (mauve), Copenhagen (deep plum), Transylvania (deep violet) and Morocco (coral). Put me down for one of each please. Image credit - link

And that is all I have for today. Have a great weekend everyone.
