Elizabeth and James Nirvana White and Black by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen

Do you recall a few weeks ago when I posted about Elizabeth and James Nirvana White and Black fragrances? Well we finally have more information regarding the note composition and of course images of the bottles which in my opinion channels Tom Ford. Very chic indeed.

From what I have read up until now the concept is that each fragrance has been created to be worn alone or can be worn together should you wish. The scents work harmoniously together yet are said to be very different from one and other as an ode to Mary Kate and Ashley being twins. Very clever and well thought out in my opinion. Nirvana white is said to be a clean floral fragrance which includes notes of peony, lily of the valley and musk. Simple, elegant and in my opinion somewhat influenced by the likes of Creed White in Love and Tom Ford White Patchouli.

As mentioned above the two fragrances are entirely different and where Nirvana White could be seen as the softer, feminine and perhaps day offering Nirvana is the polar opposite - masculine, deep and perfect for the evening. It is said to be some what earthen and akin to Tom Ford's Black Orchid which doesn't really come as a surprise. Notes are said to include violet, sandalwood and vanilla.

Sadly for all us not based in North America the Elizabeth and James Nirvana White and Black which will launch this coming January will be exclusive to Sephora. Hopefully one day in the near future the UK will have a stockist of some sort - I imagine them for some reason to end up being exclusive to Selfridges but that is merely me guessing.
