By now most will be sick to the back teeth of my constant harping on about MAC's latest collection RiRi ♥ M.A.C Fall (as a Brit it pains me to type "Fall" in regards to Autumn) but I simply had to share some glorious images of my haul (another word I'm less than keen to use).
Obviously my RiRi ♥ M.A.C Fall products have only just popped through my letterbox so I haven't had time to swatch them or play around yet so my reviews will most likely be live tomorrow. What I can say is that I really like the packaging - I know some have deemed it to be tacky and poorly made but I have to say I haven't found that to be the case. I find the pretty rose gold metallic style to be rather beautiful and a great change of pace from the mundane black casings most beauty brands offer.
Other first impressions are that brushes are poorly made and not at all worth the splurge - on the whole MAC brushes are a great investment unless the are special edition. Pretty yes but like I said not at all the quality I have come to expect from MAC. Also the lipsticks are much deeper in person that some blogs had lead me to believe which isn't necessarily a bad thing but a surprise none the less.
Did you pick up anything from the RiRi ♥ M.A.C Fall collection?
P.S if you do want to order anything from such collective House of Fraser is your best bet they have a few and I mean few items left - link
Ooh I love the rose gold packaging! Shame the brushes aren't up to standard quality-wise. Looking forward to seeing your reviews and swatches! :)

I love the packaging. Shame about the brushes, they'd look lovely on my dressing table!

What a shame on the brushes as you mentioned.. I loved the rose gold packaging and in fact, I got my lippie and quad from House of Fraser as it was the only place that still had stock on the 3rd!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your reviews on the items!

I really wasn't impressed with the brushes either A. Picked up the lippies but just to give away as they're not my colours.
ReplyDeleteBrown Thomas in Dublin have the entire collection in stock though & will ship to UK for £5 should anyone be stuck x

ReplyDeleteI can't make my mind up whether I love this range or hate it .... Clare Elise
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I couldn't put my dislike for Rhianna aside for this collection and didn't purchase anything. They always collab with people I don't like haha. The packaging is really lovely though! I also hate Fall instead of Autumn hehe xx

Im normally one to jump at the chance of buying something from a limited edition collection from MAC, but for some reason or other this collection just doesn't do it for me!

The neutrals palette looks amazing, I never really find myself drawn to eyeshadows as I already own both Naked palettes, but it just looks so beautiful!

The packaging is really nice, would look pretty in my brush holder! Those eyeshadow palettes look pretty too! I would have expected more bold colours though from this collection!

The rose gold packagaing is amazingg

It really annoys me when brushes from the LE collections are badly made - MAC brushes are not cheap and when you're paying extra for packaging too I expect the brushes to be of a great quality.

Love the eyeshadow palettes! Such a shame about the brushes being duff, they're so pretty! x

Everything looks so good!
ReplyDeleteThink I'll wait for a few reviews before decided what to buy, as sometimes 'celebrity' collections can be a little rubbish in the quality department.
Hmm maybe...
Great haul! These palettes look amazing xx
