To mark World Sight Day, which takes place this week on Thursday 10th October, L’Occitane have introduced a limited edition Rose Tenderness Solidarity Soap with 100% of profits being donated to the cause.
The Rose Tenderness Solidarity Soap which costs a mere £3.50 is an ultra-gentle soap that is rich in softening and protecting ingredients (Shea Butter (5%) and rose essential oil). The soap has been triple milled to ensure long lasting quality not to mention 100% of the profits (sale price minus tax and production cost) will be donated by the L’Occitane Foundation to NGO’s specialising in the treatment and prevention of sight loss across the world.
I know some will say it is harsh of me to say but I am glad to see a brand not only donate 100% of its profits but also create an item that is affordable. Deep down we all want to do our bit for charity but not all of us have the means to do so but with this product being £3.50 it is far more accessible and let's face it we all use soap.
