Origins GinZing Moisturiser is one of the newest gel moisturizer to hit the beauty scene that promises to not only kick start you skin’s natural radiance levels but give a does of hydration to boot - think of it as your new morning wake up call in a jar. Tired skin will be a thing of the past after you discover this sweetly scented gel!
Having oily skin I do favour gel formulations for day wear as they work best with my skin in that they give a light dose of moisture without overwhelming my skin and encouraging it to produce excess oil throughout the day. Although perhaps not best suited to sensitive skin due to the high concentrate of fragrant oils there is no disputing that Origins GinZing Moisturiser smells utterly divine - a bright sunny realistic orange come grapefruit scent. I'm a huge advocate of aromatherapy and I firmly believe that both fragrances will help turn a frown upside down (lame)...kidding but the sunny blend of fragrances will help put a little pep in your step. In fact everything about this moisturiser makes me smile from the scent, the texture to the golden amber glass jar it is the skin care equivalent of jarred sun rays!
So what does Origins GinZing Moisturiser contain? A blend of panax ginseng as well as caffeine (which have been derived from coffee beans) is what, to aid the optimisation of cellular energy and help condition and repair the skin in one quick step. This time around Origins have skipped out on any anti-ageing technology to help keep the new addition more pocket friendly and have focused their attention on creating a light, water based formula that will give the skin a friendly boost of radiance ( a glow if you will) without illuminating particles or being greasy in the slightest.
In my opinion the newest addition to the Origins skin care family is best suited to normal, oily and even combination skin types. Now I'm not saying that drier types won't enjoy this as the gel texture is light, cooling and refreshing (basically perfect for riding the skin of the uncomfortable tight sensation that dry complexions often suffer from) but you may want to couple it with a product like Hydraluron for a more intense moisture boost.
It softens, it hydrates, it illuminates and I rather like it!

This sounds lovely but I'll probably give it a miss because my skin is quite sensitive to heavily fragranced products :( origins sounds like a good skincare brand to try out though.

Sounds lovely! I think it would be a bit too invigorating/scented for my sensitive skin, but the scent sounds amazing and I think my oily skin would like the texture :)
