Every now and then a beauty product comes along and shakes up the cosmetic world, revolutionizing how we look at similar items and in some cases changing how we view said category of product forever. For me recently that has been the new range of Vaseline Spray and Go Moisturizers so much so I'm now on my second can in as little as three weeks.
As many will know I'm fairly lazy when it comes to moisturising my body and often loathe the thick, sticky texture of many body products which puts me off reaching for body lotions et al. However the humid weather in Florida dried out my skin particularly on my legs to the point it was uncomfortable and pretty grim to look at, I knew something had to be done so I pursued the local drugstore and stumbled across the Vaseline Spray and Go Moisturizer range. I had seen the spray on body moisturisers by Vaseline on various blogs but truth be told paid them little mind as like I said I am fairly lazy with products of this nature, well lazy boys and gals everywhere listen up when I say that this product is what our half assed dreams are made off...yay to more time for napping!
Initially I deemed the spray to be gimmicky but I kid you not when I say that not only does that spray on and go formula nourish, soothe and soften the skin instantly but also within a few uses (maybe around the three day mark) all signs of my flaky skin had disappeared. It really is as easy as spritzing the light weight liquid over your limbs and body, quickly rubbing in (you can skip this if in a hurry) and getting dressed. Gone are the days of waiting around for a greasy lotion to sink into the skin and in is instant and true hydration. To the best of my knowledge there is three variations but the best smelling version in my opinion has to be the Aloe Fresh scent, it is light, fresh and uplifting.
Luckily you don't have to book a flight to the states to pick one of these babies up as they are now available within the UK via Boots for £4.99/190ml - link.

I have the cocoa radiant one and it smells lovely too! I find it really handy but maybe not as moisturising as regular moisturisers! x
ReplyDeleteThese look really cool, I can imagine them being really good but I'm a bit hesitant to pick one up because I can see them running out really quickly (like all spray things seem to do haha)

I'm not lazy when it comes to moisturise, I do it every day but that product seems to get the job done faster. However I think I will pass because it seems that it will run out really quickly. xx
ReplyDeleteI wish I had your dedication :) I don't think it would as a little goes a long way and the other cans I did have to share with my two sisters haha! x
DeleteOh maybe I will try it then (:

Ohh this looks interesting! If I see it around, I will pick it up:)

These sound really messy to me. I mean, when you spray it on your body, does it not go all over your counter/floors/walls?
ReplyDeleteOddly no, the mist is super fine and easy control but I can totally see what you mean :)
DeleteOh wow, really? I'm actually very surprised LOL
DeleteThis is a pretty brilliant idea! Never think of Vaseline for anything other than, well.. Vaseline!

These are great, I think the aloe scent is my favourite, I've been playing with the testers at my local Boots! The can is shaped differently in the US than in the UK I see, how strange!

I've seen this stuff advertised all over Boots and as of yet haven't had a look at it, even though it really does appeal to me.
ReplyDeleteLike yourself I'm so lazy when it comes to putting lotion on my skin, but I think when I get some spare cash I'm going to try this out, it sounds right up my street!

I wanna try this! Spesh the cocoa butter one! Tis a bit pricey though considering it looks quite small. Maybe I'll wait around for a special offer to pop up :)

I'm really interested to try this! Although I don't think this has come to Australia yet :( though I've just discovered and reviewed a moisturiser by Nivea that you use in the shower - which I'm finding is a really great way to streamline the whole moisturizing routine (no more standing around in the cold applying afterwards! )
