Today I have another moisturiser to share this time around it is from the new Clarins HydraQuench range which in my opinion is the perfect summer skin care range with products to not only adds moisture to the skin but also cools and calms which is much needed after a day in the summer sunshine!
I was recently sent Clarins HydraQuench Cream which is a thick yet easily absorbed moisturiser that has been formulated to not only feel light weight on the skin which it does but also to promote softer and smoother cream. Clarins HydraQuench Cream contains Hyaluronic Acid to really hydrate the skin not just instantly but over the course of the day which is a bonus when the sun is determined to dehydrate the skin.
I don't normally mention the scent of skincare products as more often than not there is nothing to say but this day cream has the most divine sun cream type scent that does not irritate the skin rather it adds to the experience.
As I have oily skin I have found Clarins HydraQuench Cream to be a little too heavy for a daily moisturiser and have been using this at night for a cooling but hydrating night cream that soothes, plumps and leaves my skin feeling super soft. I have passed this on to my sister who has normal to dry skin and she has stated that her often parched skin feels nothing short of amazing after applying Clarins HydraQuench Cream - any dry areas after two days of use have gone much like my pot of Clarins HydraQuench Cream haha!
Although Clarins HydraQuench Cream is a little too heavy for my skin type I do highly rate the formula and will be picking up the version for oily skin along with a few other pieces (mask, lip balm and tinted moisturiser) for my trip to the states. I will of course update you with reviews in due course.

ReplyDeleteThis looks really good! My skin can have such mixed periods when its dry then oily so this might be a little heavy but maybe good for one or two nights a week?!

You should try the HydraQuench Lotion, it is much lighter than the cream. I have combination skin and the lotion is perfect! Read my review here...
