Normally I spend my bank holiday in a park sunbathing with a few friends with some pear cider and a picnic...illegal I know but trust me where I live that really is the least of the park's problems.
Well this fair bank holiday is far from sun bathing weather and we have decided to bring the outdoors indoors with some naughty treats including sandwiches and lots of fruit and to set the mood I currently have Yankee's Summer Scoop scent flickering away in the background.
To most candles are an evening accompaniment and finding a fragrance that is suitable for burning throughout the day is pretty tricky, in my opinion you can't really go wrong with a fruity, uplifting scent such as Yankee's Summer Scoop which smells exactly like Raspberry Ripple ice-cream...yum! Yankee Summer Scoop perfectly tinkers between being sweet and milky without ever being overbearing or sickly sweet and perfectly teamed with a glass of Pimms or two...cheeky!
Call of the search I have found the perfect summer day and evening house fragrance in Yankee Summer Scoop, one whiff of this berry treat and I know you'll be hooked too!
Yankee Summer Scoop*£1.20 - £18.99 via Scented Candle Shop - link

Random Fact - Eight strawberries have more vitamin C than an orange, that's 140% of our daily recommended amount.
Ok I definitely need this scent in my life to replace my winter staple of strawberry buttercream!xx

"in a park sunbathing"
ReplyDeleteIn Scotland?! Since when are there sunny bank holidays in Scotland! I can remember about 3-4 proper sunbathing days in Edinburgh within any given year and generally they occur when I'm stuck in an office block.
Least it means you will age well - no sun damage to worry about!
Not a huge fan of yankee candles, find them a little artificial after using so many natural soy/beeswax essential oil ones. But it sounds nice nonetheless
:-)
Haha you know how us Scots are first whiff of day light and off comes the t-shirt haha!
DeleteIts so hot where i am in england so i need that candle lol it would be perfect.x
ReplyDeleteLovely photography! How many hours would you say the candle burns for?
