Not so long ago the beauty blogging world exploded with praise for Jouer's Moisture Tint in all its forms. Well perpare yourself for a little more madness as I can say with my sincerest Brownie salute that Jouer make-up only gets better and Jouer Glisten Brightening Powder is a summer must have.
What I adore about Jouer packaging is that it just oozes class and sophistication all the while being utterly practical and that is all you can ask for. Jouer Glistening Brightening Powder is presented within a small square jar with a tighter than tight screw off function. I'm sure a few are wondering why I stressed that the grip on the lid is so tight, well when it comes to loose powders the tighter the better unless you enjoy a dusty make-up bag! Once you wrestle off the lid you are presented with a sifter which is great for minimising the amount of powder dispensed in one go. Basically a huge thumbs up from me when it comes to the packaging and that seldom happens.
If subtle radiance is your thing then make Jouer Glistening Brightening Powder your next purchase, this lightweight and finely milled powder not only feels like velvet on the skin but it instantly perks up any complexion and can be used in a multitude of ways. For dull skin you can use Jouer Glisten Brightening Powder in place of your normal setting powder safe in the knowledge that you will not look like you have overdone it at your local rave (oh life stop creeping into my posts). However if that is not to your taste you can use it like you would a typical highlighter and target areas that you want to add a little light and radiance to.
Which ever way you decide to use this light peachy powder you don't have to worry about it clinging to problem areas such as enlarged pores or fine lines as it has been formulated to blur such imperfections thanks to light reflecting particles and in which lies the magic of this powder and why every make-up bag needs it. Okay need is a strong word but if you have enlarged pores you'll understand how difficult it is to find a great illuminating product.

This looks amazing. I have been hearing a lot about Jouer products, and I am very undecided about what product from them I should spend my money on. I must admit my skin has been looking dull recently. It has also been really dry. Does it cling on to drier parts of the skin?
ReplyDeleteGreat post

Sadly my skin is oily so I can't comment on that but as it doesn't settle into my pores I'd say that it is a good indication that it should be okay on drier skins? x
DeleteI so wanted this then read the review on the Cult Beauty website, not sure now!
ReplyDeleteI just read it too and going by that ladies review I wouldn't want it either. I think she may have been a little too heavy handed as once blended out (right hand swatches) it really is subtle :) but hey to each their own. I like it on my cheekbones teamed with a coral blush for a summer-esque look x
DeleteThis looks so illuminating but slightly too glittery?? I'd definitely give it a try though x
