Today I have a slightly different post but one i'm we can all agree is an important cause and one that deserves all the support in the world! Yes ladies and gents I'm talking about Fashion Targets Breast Cancer 2013. This year Fashion Targets Breast Cancer wants to focus on unity, basically together we are stronger and this year’s campaign sees mothers and daughters coming together with leading high street and online retailers to encourage you to Wear Your Support.
With well known brands such as Topshop, River Island and many more high street giants coming together to lend a hand it really couldn't be easier to show your support. Basically whatever your age, style or budget there is something for you to wear with pride and more importantly get involved. I have a £3 Strawberry Lip Balm and a £2 bracelet by River Island - a £5 in total which let's face it many of us can spend in a coffee shop without a second thought. I do have my eye on a Love print skirt by Topshop that sees 30% of profits donated to Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.
With 50,000 women in the UK each year being diagnosed with breast cancer I really do believe this is a cause we should all get behind, I know money can be tight and I would never dream of telling anyone how to spend their hard earned cash, all I'm saying is that if you can please help. I apologise if anyone reading has been affected in any shape or form by breast cancer or cancer of any type for that matter and finds this post a little too close to the bone. I live in hope that by supporting such charities we can one day look forward to a cure.
Disclaimer
I will be honest and say that the two items featured have been sent to me but I don't believe in receiving charity samples and have since donated their worth and a little more in cash form back to Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, which I did here -link. Anyway this post was not compensated in any way it is just support for a cause that I firmly believe in.
