It has been a funny old week, you know those weeks when you don't have time to sit down and take stock of things? Well that was the week past - meetings, blog events and then life...it fair takes it out you but do you know what I wouldn't have it any other way!
This week my make-up choices have been pretty bland but I thought I'd share them none the less.
I've not been at home much so I need a really good base which has included a quick dab of Clarins Instant Smooth Primer before popping on a quick application of Revlon's Nearly Naked Foundation. I know you'll have heard a lot about Benefit's Fake Up Concealer but I swear by it for the under eye area as it doesn't cake or gather into any creases...I love it.
To keep oil at bay I have been relying on Urban Decay's De-Slick Setting Spray which I am rapidly running out of, if you have oily skin I do recommend trying it out as I find it works a treat.
There was a while that I felt like it did nothing for me but I back to recommending to all that will listen.
For the first time in a long while I haven't been contouring my face, I have no rhyme or reason to why I have been skipping such step but I have. Instead I have went back to my peachy cheek ways with a good dusting of MAC's Cream Soda Blush. I like to team it with a little of MeMeMe's Beat the Blues Highlighter for a little added radiance.
I have been super boring when it comes to my eyes and reaching for Urban Decay's Naked 2 Palette which has been pretty fun re-discovering it and playing around with combinations.
At the moment I really like Half Baked with a little of Busted worked in to add a little depth.
Mascara wise I have nothing to write home about which is a little disappointing but hey tomorrow is a new day.
On my lips it has either been Revlon Lip Butter in Papaya or a quick slick of Carmex Lime Twist both of which are fairly new so you may not be able to source them quite so easily.
