November has passed me by in a blur, I could say the same thing for 2012
but November really has shot by like the speed of light.
I haven't really finished many products this month but I do have a few empties to share none the less.
MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation
I think I must be the only oily skinned chica that truly enjoys this foundation
most fans of the formula tend to have drier skin types but I do rate it highly and it is my go to base.
It covers so well, is comfortable to wear not to mention MAC NC 37 is the best colour match for my skin tone that I have ever encountered and is something I will repurchase over and over again.
Dr Jart+ Water Fuse BB Cream
If you have yet to find an easily asscible BB cream in the UK that lives up to all the BB hype then this
is the way to go, yes the colour is a little grey even when settled but it covers, hydrates
and brightens the skin and is great for days when you don't want a full coverage foundation.
Much like MAC Studio Sculpt this is an instant repurchase for me.
Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo and Conditioner
As huge of a fan of Liz Earle that I am I really didn't get on with the hair care products,
don't get me wrong they cleanse and moisturise just as any shampoo/conditioner would but
didn't really do much for my thick, wavy hair.
I wouldn't repurchase this duo but I am very picky with hair care.
Rimmel Scandal Eyes Mascara
Maybelline Colossal Volum' Mascara - Smoky Eyes
I dislike both of these mascara when used individually - both have a tendency to smear and flake
yet when combined they do something special and really are a power couple.
Rimmel Scandal Eyes adds length and definition and the Maybelline Smoky Eyes mascara
adds volume and drama, yes I will repurchase but only as a duo which is a little pricey
not to mention time consuming.
Have you finished many products this month?
I have hardly finished any products up this month, but that bb cream looks really nice, might give it ago!)

it is fab :)
DeleteI didn't get on well with the Liz Earle conditioner, it didn't really do much for my crazy hair but the shampoo is probably my most repurchased. It's one of the few I can use without it irritating my scalp.

I think the problem with it is that it isn't hydrating enough?
DeleteYou should try Naked hair care products great for sensitive scalps :)
I have the same problem with the Maybelline Smoky Eyes mascara, I have to use it with Loreal Million lashes. Its a huge pain.
ReplyDeleteI call it eye lash dandruff haha! Yup too much time in my hands haha!
DeleteI've only just stared using Dr. Jart stuff (got some in my Glossybox) and it's FABULOUS. Just wish the tube was bigger :(

Aww I hate when that happens, it was 1/2 price on Boots not too long ago so perhaps keep an eye out for that offer in the future :)
DeleteI wasn't keen on the Liz Earle shampoo and cond either. Weighed my hair down too much! x
ReplyDeleteYes it did that to me too I had to deep cleanse my hair after two uses, gutting as Liz Earle is a fab brand in general.
DeleteI found that it took my hair some time to acclimatise to natural shampoo and conditioner - it's so used to having to over compensate for all the oil stripping chemicals that it's not used to it. It's absolutely worth it about 6 weeks into it.
DeleteI love both of those mascaras!
ReplyDeleteThe brush in the Rimmel one is pretty funky isn't it :)
Deletedo you ever cut into the tubes?? i have started doing this recently you'd be amazed whats left in them i had a benefit porefessional and i cut the tube in hslf got bout 3 weeks out of it using it once everyday! :)
ReplyDeleteYes I do and scrape the insides into a little screw top jar but I always do it after I've taken any photos to spare you all my mess ;) haha!
DeleteI'm a bit like you with my MAC foundation- I like Studio Fix with powder, which a lot of people seem to hate, but you'll have to wrench it from my cold, dead hands. I hated the Rimmel mascara though!
ReplyDeleteHaha a girl after my own heart :)
DeleteI've not finish so muh products, most of them are hand creams.
