I think most would agree that Benefit do wonderful little kits and package items so well
that it is hard to resist popping one or two in your basket or onto a wish list!
Well the newest kit by Benefit is Peek-a-Bright-Eyes which is an eye illuminating kit
and contains all you need and more for big bright eyes!
As expected the Peek-a-Bright-Eyes is well presented within a strong cardboard style box
which is small enough to fit inside the palm of your hand, despite the majority of Benefit's products (powder based items anyway) coming housed within cardboard I have yet to find a complaint with the style.
Yes sometimes the edges look a little worn with constant use but other than that it passes the test of time
and does a wonderful job of protecting the items inside.
Inside the Peek-a-Bright-Eyes you will find a sizable mirror, a how to guide, a concealer brush,
a contour/line brush, three eyeshadows and a compact of Eye Bright.
What I have to point out is that Benefit have got it so right in presenting the Eye Bright which is
a cream based product within a separate plastic container which has a lid to protect it from powder fall out.
All three of the eyeshadows are butter soft, with great pigmentation and various finishes (matte and shimmer)
so you can create an array of looks with ease and I do have to admit that brushes are none to shabby either.
I've never touched on Eye Bright as an individual product before but Eye Bright when in full size comes
in pencil form and can be used as a highlighter, a base or as an eye liner.
The beauty of this product is that it helps disguise dark circles, I particularly like to use it
on my brow bone to help open and brighten my eyes which as well as being hooded can also look tired!
All in all a great little kit that is prefect for keeping in your handbag or office drawer to perk up your eyes
on the go, it also makes a great little gift for those just starting out with make-up as the shades
are neutral and should suit most.

Eye Bright is amazing, I've had two of the pencils. Would love to give this kit a try, and the brushes will be really useful with other makeup too when the kit runs out.

I love benefit kits - this one looks perfect! Xo
ReplyDeleteWow this palette is so pigmented. I own a few of the benefit eyeshadow palettes and love them to death. This is very similar to Big, Beautiful Eyes, which is the best palette for beginners.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
