If like
myself you are a huge fan of Thierry Muglers Alien but sometimes find it to be
a little too heavy for day wear particularly in the warm and balmy weather you
will be pleased to new that recently an EDT that shares the same iconic and
mystical scent but with a little less power.
Although
they smell identical I find Alien EDT to be slightly fresher and simply more
day appropriate. Yes it is an Eau De Toilette but it has all the lasting powder
of the original perfume just in a more subtle way.
I have wore
Alien for years and years (since I was 18 so I exaggerate a little) and feel
lost without it lingering on my skin but in the warmer months it can feel a
little sickly and heavy so I feel like Thierry Mugler has answered my perfume
prayers with this addition to the Alien family!
Is there a
perfume that you wish also came in EDT form?

Oh my God,i just love this edt!I want it so much,but now as things are i can only have edt by Zara-another unemployment from Greece talking.Ok things going to be better and one day i will have it....It is lovely-40 degrees in my area today!!Just an information you do not need,hahahah.Kisses....!

ReplyDeletei do agree that the parfum version is very heavy and even quite sickly sometimes when i sniff it in stores and that is why i haven't added this to my collection yet. However, i do like the scent because it is very unique and alot of my friends really like it too. I am glad that they do an EDT which may be a tad lighter and easier on my senses. Maybe one day i will add it to my ever growing perfume collection :) Thanks for reviewing but for now i think i shall stick to my fresh flowery scents for the nice summer days....when we finally get some sunshine xxx

Alien's my absolute favourite scent ever. I might check out the eau du toilette version, as I find I have the same problem as you in that it's slightly too strong for summer. Then again, with this English summer, I feel like I can't justify a 'summer' scent ...

Love Alien EDP, never smelt the EDT I always usually head for the stronger scents. Sometimes if I dont want it smelling too heavy I do 1 light spray and hold the bottle further away. I love it for a night out :)
