When it comes to eyeshadows I can categorize the majority of my collection into two piles
smokey shades and neutrals, bright colours don't really do it for me at all.
For day wear I like a nice simple neutral look and for night I like to smoke it up.
Today I have a great shade that is a cross over shade it is light enough to be used for day wear
yet packs enough punch to incorporated into an evening look.

Steel is a blue grey shade that has a metallic finish,
it reminds me a little of Mac Scene eyeshadow but as mentioned it has a metallic finish.
I found this shade to be really flattering on my eye shade and made my blue eyes
appear far more bluer than they actually are.
As mentioned this works well blended with neutral and deep shades.

I was seriously surprised by the pigmentation of this shade
the shade is really pigmented and provides a high level of colour pay off in one swipe
so I can say with great certainty that this shade will show up on the deepest of skin tones
however it may be a highlight shade as it is not as pigmented as the trios available by Mememe.
The formula is pretty great too, soft enough that it picks up on a brush with ease and blends well
but not so soft that the fall out of product is overwhelming or easily shattered.
I will be truthful and say that this formula does wear better on primed eye lids
as without a primer the shades do have a tendency to smear and crease after a few hours.
