Again rather than completely banishing my favourite items from my make-up bag
to shop my stash, I have picked items that I have been neglecting
and will attempt to rotate them in with my more reached for items.
I have so far found this method to be easier to commit to than my previous attempts.
Face
Mac Blush in Gingerly – link
This is one of those shades that is easy to sweep on or use as a contour
But yet I seldom reach for it, apparantley it is a shade Kim Kardashian uses too?
Tarte Amused Blush
I used my other Tarte blush all the time but never seem to apply it’s pink sister
which is a shame as it is such a pretty blush that wears so well.
I must step away from the corals every once and a while!
Lips
Topshop Lip Pencil in Coy - link
This is a neon coral shade that is matte in formula so on paper all I can wish for
but I find the shade a little stark and I have corals in my stash I much prefer.
However I do love how easy this is to apply and with a gloss on top
it is a really pretty summer ready shade!
Look Beauty Double Hit in Citrus Kick
This little contraption features a semi-matte lipstick with a matching gloss.
I do find it to be a little too strongly scented for my taste
but there is no dying that the shade is pretty and the 2–in–1 option
is really convenient particularly when you are on the go.
Eyes
Avon Supershock Eyeliner Pencil
I have used these for years and really do find them to be one of the best
gel liners on the High Street (if you can call Avon High Street?).
It glides on with such ease and wears really well on the waterline,
I just sometimes feel that black liner on my waterline is a little over the top for day wear?
Nars Arabian Nights Trio
I have yet to get this to work for me, I find the trio of shades beautiful in colour
just not so much in terms of pigmentation so this is its last chance salon
before I call it quits and sell it on!
So that is my little additions for the week,
what have you picked?
Where did u get the Tarte blush??

It really is a shame because the shades are beyond amazing :) I shall report back soon :)
DeleteI really love gingerly!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was my first blush...!!!
Mine was Dollymix :)
DeleteI know what you mean about the Nars shadows, I have however found that dampening your brush with something like fix plus before application gives it a more pigmented and dramatic look.
