but the one thing my eyes instantly narrowed into was the new Deep Cleansing Pore Strips!
I constantly bemoan my pores - they are enlarged on my cheeks and blocked on my nose
so pore products are something I am forever buying and testing!
I'm sure most of us are familiar with pore strips perhaps some even use them regularly?
If not I'll briefly explain what they are, how to use them and what they do.
Pore strips are more often than not a strip of natural fibres - think along the lines of felt
that you apply to the skin (normally the nose) to withdraw impurities and unblock the pores.
They are really easy to use, some you apply straight from the pack and others you dampen
either the strip or the skin area, apply, wait allotted time and remove...easy peasy.
Montagne Jeunesse Deep Cleansing Pore Strips come in a pack of three -
which could last you 3 weeks if like I you use once a week.
Each strip contains Orange Flower Water and Witch Hazel both of which are natural
and help to draw out deep-rooted impurities so not only are the pores less visible
but cleansed deep down with such ease.
I expected the strips to have a citrus scent due to the Orange Flower element
but the Witch Hazel scent dominates which isn't unpleasant at all but very herb/natural in scent.
All products used in Montagne Jeunesse Skin Care Products are completely natural
and safe for vegetarians not to mention animal cruelty free!
I found the strips very easy to apply and remove,
in the past some pore strips have left the skin on my nose red, angry and sore
but this was not the case with the Deep Cleansing Pore Strips.
Rather they were gentle but removed a good amount of grime from my blocked pores
and in my opinion after a few uses my pores did look so much better and more refined!
I will save you the ick factor but the best part for me when using pore strips is the removal
and looking at all the dirt etc on the strip...terribly yucky I know but massively fun haha!
Do you use Pore Strips?
Montagne Jeunesse Deep Cleansing Pore Strips cost £1.49 and are available from

I used one of these the other day and didn't find it did much for my pores! I've never used pore strips before, thinking i didn't leave it on long enough! Will definitely keep trying with the other two now though x
