and this June sees the release of another eight new shades and I could not be more excited if I tried!
The new shades are: Heaping Hazelnut, Two Ton Tomato, Curvy Candy, Pudgy Peony,
Bountiful Blush, Oversized Orange, Mighty Mimosa and Voluptuous Violet.
I have seen a few of the new shades and they look fab, today I have Bountiful Blush to share!
Clinique Chubby Sticks are essentially chunky crayons of tinted lip balm, that moisturise
and norish the lips due to a blend of oils, butters and antioxidants such as Shea Butter.
Everything about the Clinique Chubby Sticks is convenient particularly if you are partial to tinted lip balms,
the pencil/crayon design means gone are the days when you had to apply with your fingers,
the pencil concept also means you apply with precision and as the bottom turns up
there is no need to sharpen, resulting in time and product saved!
As mentioned I have one of the new shades that launch in June - Bountiful Blush.
Bountiful Blush in bullet form is a lovely blend of pink and brown, Mauve if you will?
Applied it keeps it's Mauve tone but as it is a tinted balm it obviously sheers out some what.
I feel Bountiful Blush is fairly cool toned but as it is sheer I don't feel we really need to be to concerned
with undertones as the beauty of sheer products is that they work with your natural tones.
As with all Clinique Chubby Sticks this gives the lips a tint of colour as well as a glossy finish.
There's not too much I can really say about the formula other than it's firm enough to hold it's shape
yet soft and nourishing on the lips, the formula doesn't cling to dry patches
nor does it bleed or feather throughout the day.
It's easy to apply and a great choice for warm days when lipstick is the least of your beauty woes.
In terms of wear I find Clinique Chubby Sticks to wear for around three hours as long as you
don't eat or drink which is fairly substantial.
The pigmentation is more than fair given it is a tinted balm.

Wow this looks a lot different on lips than it does in stick form. I actually like it more than I thought I would as I'm not usually a fan of coconutty blush shades...
