I'm going to endeavour to post an "Empties" post each month
or at least each month I have finished up products to share.
It really is satisfying reaching the end of a product in an odd way isn't there?
For each product I'll give you a quick run down and wither I would re-purchase or not!
Hair
This is the area that I always seem to use up the most products...no surprise really.
- John Frieda Full Repair Deep Conditioner , a deep mask that is surprisingly light.
I found this to do a great job of treating my over processed hair and I have already repurchased.
- John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo, again this did a wonderful job of moisturising yet cleansing
my damaged hair and I did enjoy using it but I won't be repurchasing until I have used up other shampoos.
- Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask, I use this as a weekly hair treatment and can't really be without it
so it is a definite repurchase for me and most likely always will be!
Face/Body
Not a whole lot to share here really...
- Clean and Clear Truly Gentle Face Wash, this is my to go to face wash. I use this before embarking on
a full cleanse ritual and if my skin breaks out this is the one I reach for. I really recommend it
and yes I have already bought another bottle.
- Korres Vanilla Cinnamon Shower Gel, I love Korres products and this was my winter choice
but truth be told I'm a little tired of the scent and glad to have finished the bottle. I wouldn't repurchase
immediately but perhaps revisit it next winter.
Make-Up
I seldom hit pan on powder products, I do however go through a lot of mascara and foundation!
- Covergirl Lash Blast, my all time favourite mascara and a definite holy grail product. I'm always a little
upset when my stash runs out as nothing really lives up to it. I have re-purchased a few via eBay.
- Benefit Bad Gal Lash, I have had a few samples of this formula and have yet to be blown away.
I much prefer it's younger sister "They're Real" and wouldn't purchase this mascara again.
Have you managed to finish any products this month?
I love Bad Gal. Its the only mascara i'll wear. Its the only mascara that never clumps on me.
ReplyDeleteAh really, I don't get on with it at all it always smears on my skin :(
DeleteI plan on investing in a few goodies from the John Frieda Full Repair range pretty soon, endless good reviews about the entire range flying around the blogosphere!
ReplyDeleteYou really should :) it is such a great buy :)
DeleteI love this idea :) The only question I have is how long does it take you to finish each product? Or does it take exactly a months-time?
ReplyDeletex
Thank you :) no some months I might have no empty products just depends :) Haircare I go thorough quite a lot as do I with mascara and foundation but the rest it depends :)
DeleteI love reading this type of post and I'd would do one... but I very rarely finish anything haha! :)x

Oh good call :)
Deletesurely covergirl lash blast is just the american branding of maxfactor false lash effect is it not? they even have the new orange packaging! x
ReplyDeleteHi! I live in America and we also carry max factor so I don't think it's a different branding issue or a dupe. LashBlast has ended up being extremely popular in the states. It's a must have for my sister! My recommendation is Mary Kay's lash love mascara, but I am not sure if it's accessible in the uk. Xoxo
DeleteAh thanks Lindsay I think a good few of us where wondering that. I don't really like max factor false lash effect but love lash blast so I always thought my mind was playing tricks on me when people said they were the same thing!
DeleteI love these kind of posts!!
ReplyDeleteYep I finished OPI You dont know Jacques nail polish. The first polish I EVER finished. Bought a new one allready, its my go to polish. Other then that I finished some bodylotion and shower gels and a face primer.
Thanks Sandra :) ah wow that is really good going :)
