First Sunday Shopping the Stash of the New Year but if it is anything like last year, I will be wishing you a Merry Christmas before we know it! Anyway Happy New Year and on with this weeks choices.
Face
As per usual my foundation and face powder are Mac and my usual staple items so I haven't included them as it is nothing new nor exciting! Can you believe that I hardly ever use my Dior Amber Diamond Highlighter? This week I plan to rectify that and I have chosen another neglected item in my stash, MAC Stunner blush which is a light coral pink.
Eyes
I have a deal with myself, if I use my Urban Decay Naked Palette all week well until the 5th I can purchase Naked 2 but in all honesty I don't know if I will bother. There is only so many neutral eyeshadows you need and I don't deem Naked 2 as ground breaking. I have also picked out two bases in the form of NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil - yoghurt and 17 wild metallic eyes -wild nude. I'm a little sad to be including what is now my last new tube of Cover Girl Lash Blast...sad times.
Lips
I'm craving a little colour and for me the only place I have confidence to wear a pop of colour
is on my lips, I know time to man up and experiment etc but I'm not a bold eyeshadow person.
I settled on two brights - Mac Girl About Town and Mac Vegas Volt but in-case I need a muted lip I have also chucked in Mac Crème Cup. Oh and for good measure I have added in a gloss this week, Revlon Colorburst Lip Gloss in Peony.
So that is my first ever Sunday Stash of 2012 done and dusted!

I don't think I'll bother with the Naked 2 either. Overall the first one didn't impress me as much as it did others!

I was genuinely excited to see this post come up on my bloglovin' feed. Haha. :p Unfortunately, I don't have much of a stash to shop (yet). But I've started reusing two products I'd forgotten about. I really like the colour of 17's Wild nude but it's always sold out when I check my local Boots. x

@sarirah - aww thank you :) don't feel you need a huge stash just because some bloggers have it, I often feel hindered by my stash as it so large and I worry things will turn bad etc. You have completely got the jist of it :) re-using things be it 1 or 5 products you have forgotten about :) x

ReplyDelete@boobooninja- that is beyond kind and I am honestly touched :) but I have been far too restrictive with my mascara i'm a one tube lady ;) haha and have 5 other mascaras I must test and use one being benefit's they're real before I can go back to my orange tube ways haha but thank you so so much that is such a kind offer :) x

ReplyDeleteThe Dior Amber Diamond highlighter is something I've always lusted after, but can't quite justify on account of the fact that I never wear highlighter! I'd probably buy it just to stare at haha! Seriously can't stop reading your blog atm (:
