Brace yourself, Autumn is coming and if you are half as basic as my fine self, you’ll already be sizing up a new pair of Uggs and practically tasting your first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season, before anyone can as much as mutter “Halloween”. If you are gearing up to hunker down and make the most of the cosy season, then start with your nails and snap up the Nails Inc Sweet as Chocolate Collection - especially whilst it is currently on offer via QVC.
Right now, you can grab this set of six, delectable, chocolate-toned, nail polishes in a variety of finishes for £28.98 (normal retail price £39), all beautifully presented in a gift box. With a shade for just about every occasion, I can confidently say that if you purchase this, there’s probably no need to look at another nail polish until the festive season.
The six shades within the Nails Inc Sweet as Chocolate Collection are:
- Nails Inc Sweetness Suits You; a bright, cool toned, champagne gold that has a foil finish despite being a glitter based polish. This requires two coats for an even application and is not gritty to the touch.
- Nails Inc I’ve Got a Confection to Make; a light, neutral and slightly yellow based, nude-pink. A gorgeous, everyday shade that is surprisingly opaque despite being on the lighter end of rye spectrum. This has a high-gloss finish (almost and I do say almost a gel-like appearance) and again, two coats are required for optimum coverage.
- Nails Inc Need a Reality Choc; a milky, chocolate brown that is again neutral in tone so should suit all skin tones. This performs very similar to the above shade: glossy finish and two coats for a perfect finish.
- Nails Inc Snacks & Relax; this deep bronze, metallic polish has a slight green/yellow shift that dazzles in natural light. This is the sheerest of the six shades and does require at least three coats. On the plus side, you can layer it over some of the other polishes in the collection for a little extra shimmer - it especially pairs well with "No Time to be Bitter".
- Nails Inc Love You Dairy Much; a true chocolate brown with a high-gloss finish, much like the other “cream” type polishes within this range, it requires two coats to really see the colour come to life. This has to be my favourite of the bunch and the shade I’m most likely to wear all Autumn long!
- Nails Inc No Time to be Bitter; a deep and again true chocolate hue, only this shade is our dark cocoa offering. This manages to be both classic and vampy, the perfect alternative to a deep wine or black nail polish. This shade can apply a tad streaky, as such I recommend applying in three, thin coats and again this has a high-gloss finish.
Much like a box of chocolates, deciding which Nails Inc polish from the Sweet as Chocolate Collection to try first, truly is the most difficult part.
Nails Inc Sweet as Chocolate Collection currently £28.98 but will be £39 after the pre-launch expires - link.
