Bumble and Bumble The Roxy Edit

Another day and some more mini products have caught my attention, this time in the form of the Bumble and Bumble ROXY Edit...someone confiscate my bank card please.

I’ll level, I’m not entirely sure why I keep purchasing mini products at the moment? What with travel being well and truly off the table. I think it’s partly because I’m in a weird place right now (aren’t we all) and don’t really know what I need nor want, so a lot like a “picky tea”, I’m somewhat re-evaluating my beauty routine and leaning on smaller products to somewhat steer my beauty ship. Hopefully along the way, I’ll find what I need and with minis, even if I don’t like a particular product it is a whole lot easier to suck it up, deplete the bottle and move on. I’m rambling but hopefully you follow my thought train somewhat.

At £28, I won’t pretend that the Bumble and Bumble ROXY Edit comes cheap but it does offer a great selection of beauty, hair and skin products - all of which include numerous brands under the Estée Lauder umbrella. The general concept is that the each of the 7 items, inside the fairly handy canvas cosmetic pouch (which is 100% recyclable) have been selected for their “Summer ready” capacities - whatever that may be in this weird period we are all currently trying to navigate.

Personally I rather like that the contents are varied but completely seasonal too; from Bobbi Brown you have a small bronzer that could easily double up as an eyeshadow, a radiance inducing primer from Becca, a cooling eye gel by Clinique, a gentle foaming cleanser from Estée Lauder to refresh and perhaps remove sunscreen, a Bumble and Bumble salt spray for beachy hair, a lightweight moisturiser from Glamglow and lastly, a refreshing facial mist that also sets make-up in the form of the ever iconic MAC Fix+. The only thing I truly consider to be missing from the Bumble and Bumble ROXY Edit is a SPF.

The full list of contents is as follows:
• Bumble and Bumble, Surf Infusion Spray (45ml)
• BECCA, First Light Priming Filter (15ml)
• GlamGlow, Moisturetrip Omega-Rich Moisturiser (5ml)
• Bobbi Brown, Bronzing Powder in Golden Light (2.55g)
• Estée Lauder, Perfectly Clean Multi-Action Foam Cleanser/Purifying Mask (7ml)
• Clinique, Moisture Surge™ Eye 96-Hour Hydro-Filler Concentrate (5ml)
• MAC Mini M·A·C Prep + Prime Fix+ (30ml)

As you may have noticed, three of the items are deluxe sample-come-travel sized products: Becca First Light Priming Filter (£15), Bumble and Bumble Surf Infusion Spray (£10), MAC Fix+ (£12.50), all of which you can buy individually. To purchase all three mini items collectively, would set you back £37.50 without the luxury of having the other mini products nor the wash bag, so for that reason alone I do think this is a great little deal. Essentially the Bumble and Bumble ROXY Edit would in theory save you nearly £10, all the whilst getting another 5 products for free.
