At the moment I am hugely into journaling, I have various diaries and planners on the go and love emptying my thoughts out onto paper each evening. One of my favourite journals happened to be a monthly planner in which you use to channel a little more happiness and productivity into your life, on the first of each month I would sit down, light a candle, state what I am grateful for and write about various areas of my life I would aim to improve in the coming weeks - it was wonderfully cathartic...well until I left my inner most thoughts on a train returning home from London. Why am I like this? No-one really knows, I'm clumsy, awkward and entirely forgetful but on the plus side I always have a spare pair of socks and gum, so really who is the real winner here?
As fate would have it, I returned home from such testing journey to be greeted with a beautiful parcel from Bobbi Brown and inside, alongside a glorious new pot of Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge, there was a limited edition Bobbi Brown The Happiness Planner; a bespoke #PrettyPowerful 100 Day Planner to encourage female empowerment (£20 available from Bobbi Brown studios). Fate I tell you and an accumulation of two of my favourite things to hoard: make-up and stationery.
Each year, I do make a point in purchasing the Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful Pot (£22) as I adore the functionality of the product and of course the great cause that it supports. This year I have very kindly been gifted a pot so I will donate the cost directly or maybe purchase another and gift it to someone I know who could do with cheering up? Either way it is a cause and a product I entirely support. If you have yet to experience the Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful Pot for yourself, let me be the one to tell you that you are in for a treat, not only is the shade Pretty Powerful entirely flattering on most, if not all skin tones but the clever cream product can be used on both the lips and cheeks. The medium and slightly yellow toned pink creates the most glorious, naturally flushed look on the cheeks and translates to a perfect nude-pink on the lips - once you try it for yourself, you'll wonder how you survived so long without it!
