Why have one new Charlotte Tilbury lipstick, when you could have four. Okay, yes technically one of the "new"shades is a re-launch (The Queen) but as it is proceeded by three, other brand, spanking new shades, I'm sure we can overlook this minor misstatement - especially as the reissue shade was so tricky to come by first time around.
Three of the latest Charlotte Tilbury lipstick drops can be bought individually (as expected), or if you do fall hard for the line up, you can purchase the Charlotte Tilbury Your Lip Service Royal Lipstick Trio (£60) and save yourself a little extra cash - and of course, gain the beautifully illustrated gift box too.
As you may have guessed, a selection of the new Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are centred around a royal theme - well at least as far as shade names are concerned. The Charlotte Tilbury Your Lip Service Royal Lipstick (again, all of which can be purchased independently) contains three lipsticks, two of which are exclusive to this launch (and online only) and of course a second chance to own the ever raved about Queen shade.
Let's talk a little more about Charlotte Tilbury The Queen Matte Revolution Lipstick shall we? It's not often that I fall hard for a deeper toned lip colour -typically I favour nudes/light pinks - and yet this raspberry-drenched red, is everything I never knew I wanted in a lipstick and more. Best described as a marriage between a bold pink and a blue red, The Queen is both vibrant and refined, although not your classic red. I'd imagine that this full-on splash of colour looks great on all complexions as it is so pigmented, fairly universally pleasing, and nowhere near as daunting as it may appear in the tube.

Yes Charlotte Tilbury The Queen Matte Revolution Lipstick, is just that - a Matte lipstick - but as it has a somewhat creamy slip, it is not overly drying or flat in finish, comfortable to wear and perhaps most importantly so with such a vivacious shade, it doesn't bleed nor feather. If you are looking for a more classic red lipstick - there is also Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Queen Matte Revolution Lipstick to get excited about. This is a true, deeper and altogether vampy-red, that oozes sex appeal and sophistication. Again this has a slightly cooler, blue undertone (great for creating the illusion of brighter, whiter teeth) and shares the same, creamy-yet-matte formulation as the original Queen lipstick. You can find it here for £24 - link.
From what I have gathered, Charlotte Tilbury's K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in The Duchess may have been inspired by Kate Middleton; if so, I can entirely see the connection: a refined, modern yet classic dusky pink, that creates an effortlessly polished appearance - how very apt. In my opinion, the search for the perfect, everyday pink lipstick ends here with The Duchess. Forget light pink shades that wash out even the most radiant of complexions, bold shades that require a lot of diligence and give in to the subtle power of this tea-rose hue. Not only is Charlotte Tilbury The Duchess Lipstick entirely flattering on all ages and skin tones, the formula is also note worthy: soft, nourishing, long-wearing and subtly plumping. If ever there was a pink lipstick to add to your collection, this is it. Grab yours here for £24 - link.
Stepping away from all things Royal, we have one last lipstick shade to pour over and although not quite as muted as the above selections, I'm sure we can all agree it is worthy of a place inside even the most considered make-up stashes. Charlotte Tilbury Opium Noir Lipstick (another online exclusive) is the deep, mesmerising, velvety red that dreams are made of. I'll admit that I did find the shade to be a tad daunting in bullet form but once applied, it comes to life and is the very epitome of classic vamp, coupled with a hint of old school Hollywood glamour. Charlotte Tilbury Opium Noir is one of those rare shades that not only suits just about everyone but somewhat adapts to the users natural lip colour - on some this may pull more of a brick red, on others an almost black-red and in some instances it can translate to a deep berry tone. In my opinion Opium Noir has a brown undertone, thus making it entirely neutral and most likely the reason why it is such an adaptable colour. Find it here for £24 - link.
