FeelUnique Pick 'n' Mix

Nope this is not a poor excuse of a click-bait title but in fact the real deal. Let me introduce you to the FeelUnique Pick 'n' Mix concept (which I must give kudos to Fee from Make Up Savvy for bringing it to my attention in the first place): Once a month you can enjoy beauty samples delivered to the comfort of your home for a handling and shipping fee of £3.95 which is redeemable against any future purchase - pretty nifty and with over 100 samples to choose from, you are spoilt for choice. It's almost like having your very own, customisable, beauty box delivered to your door but at a fraction of the price, and as you select what products go inside, there is a lesser chance of you being disappointed.

Further taking the surprise out of what you will receive is the sample category in place; each product has been conveniently grouped by type meaning you can select from vials, sachets, pots, cards, tubes and other. I find this somewhat makes it easier to gauge the size and quality of sample that will be dispatched - it's difficult to be disillusioned when you aware of exactly what to expect, which admittedly is not the case with many other sampling programmes.

As mentioned there is over 100 products to choose from covering a broad range of beauty needs and all that is in-between including: fragrance, skincare, make-up and of course hair care. In the end I was a little overwhelmed and settled on three cult products: a mini pot of my favourite cleansing balm by Emma Hardie, a sachet of NARS Laguna Bronzer and a dinky tub of Burts Bees Almond and Milk Hand Cream - all of which are perfectly sized both as trial products and for stashing inside a travel bag. My other two choices were a little more adventurous: as a huge fan of Replica by Maison Margiela fragrances, I took the opportunity to finally try Flower Market - it truly is beautiful and now on my wishlist (welp!). I also ordered the Nude by Nature Powder Foundation in the shade N5 Champagne, which is more of a bronzer due to my current pale complexion, but a lovely lightweight foundation none the less.

Five great quality samples and a refund for your shipping and handling via an electronic voucher - you can't really argue with that now can you?
