You knew this would be an Anastasia Beverly Hills product from the get-go, didn't you? Of course you did, she and the brand as a whole are synonymous with eyebrows and rightly so too - what ever your eyebrow woe or shade, Anastasia Beverly Hills has several products to lend a helping hand. As someone who is fairly new to the brow game, in that I've only really started paying the sparse hairs that adorn my forehead some attention in the last few months, and as such only really reach for simple yet effective products. No such brow pencil answers my pleas for easy brows other than the ever raved about Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil.
The real magic of Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil lies within the product rather than the packaging - yes it is pleasant enough: a slim black and gold printed, plastic wrapped pencil with a high quality spoolie at one end of the pencil. It manages to be both fairly basic and dare I say expected yet with a hint of luxury at the same time and yet that is not the point of this post.
The reason you should Google further swatches and colour match yourself to one of the many shades within the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil line up, is due to the super fine, easy to use nib. You'll be hard pushed to find anything smaller or more precise on the market; it may not be the most affordable brow product out there but it really does garner super natural results. The teeny-tiny brow crayon allows you to not only fill in even the most sparse of areas with laser-like exactness, all the while the pin sized head of the pencil to create fluffy, believable brow hairs. The waxy yet soft consistency of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil glides on to the skin, blends seamlessly and yet stays in place for up to 10 hours, and in all weather conditions too - you really couldn't ask for more.
But more is what you shall get. As a (bottle) blonde with naturally light brows, some shades aimed at fair haired gals and guys can either be too deep, too orange, too ashy or a combination of all three; both my sister and I have tried shades of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil suited to our hair colourings and agree there is very little comparable in terms of being natural - for the record she is a deep brunette with brows to match. After much consideration, I plumped for the lighter and slightly cooler of the blonde specific shades within the Brow Wiz family - taupe and consider it to be a perfect match. The light colour and formula allows me to build both the colour and intensity should I need to without my brows ever looking harsh or blocky and all without any skill on my part.
Blondes, brunettes, redheads and all that in-between you need to grab an Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil and never let it go.
