Here in the UK the weather could almost be described as tropical - three whole days of sunshine and no rain, that's got to be some kind of record? Heck you might even be thinking about indulging in a new pair of sandals to really make the most of the warmth and maybe a slick on nail polish too? Well if that is the case and you have a penchant for Diet Coke (I mean who doesn't?) then you may want to head to Boots where you can purchase one of three Essie Nail Polishes and a 500ml bottle of Diet Coke for just £5.99. The three shades are as follows: Cocktail Bling, Fiji or Fishnet Stockings (RRP: £9.39 so you save nearly £4 on the polish alone before accounting for the bottle of Diet Coke).
Now if you are anything like me you will be open to novel and fun ways to not only use your newly acquired bottle of Essie Nail Polish but perhaps the bottle too - it sounds bizarre but it is actually rather clever and a great way to spend the afternoon in the garden. You may even kick yourself for not thinking of the below before and perhaps the purchase of any fancy nail tools too.
Embracing textured nails couldn't be easier, simply apply your chosen Essie Nail Polish in two thin coats, allowing to dry in-between and then using the lid from your Diet Coke bottle, roll on a lighter in shade polish for a gritty nail art effect. The great thing about this design is that the messier it is, the better it looks once dry but don't just take my word for it, try it out for yourself.
Another way you can get more from your bottle of Diet Coke and Essie Nail Polish is to remove the Diet Coke label, gently roll it up and use it as a nail tool to dab on nail polish - with a little patience you can easily create a subtle ombre effect as seen above.
However you decide to use your new Essie polish and Diet Coke for that matter just be sure to make the most of the ongoing offer - perhaps you might use this as the perfect excuse to stock up on three cult Essie shades, or finally trial the brand for yourself. The Diet Coke and Essie promotion will run up until the 24th of May (while stocks last), for further information and participating Boots stores, please click here.
