Tom Ford Private Blend fragrances are my kryptonite, there is not a scent within the collective that I don't enjoy but at over £100 a bottle (gulp), I do tend to be super selective and only purchase the blends that leave me a little weak in the knees. No Summer or new fragrance for 2016, has left me quite as entranced as Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Private Blend Eau de Parfum - my goodness it is spectacular.
At this time of the year there are several new fragrance launches, all of which are perfect for a long walk on the beach, or to simply dream of sunnier climates when faced with a wet British Summer. Now don't get me wrong many other scent launches are wonderful, and have recieved high praise from me, but few come close to Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Private Blend Eau de Parfum. Sorry. Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Private Blend Eau de Parfum is a dreamy and altogether creamy, yet not jarring tropical fragrance. Yes the pistachio note does have an almost coconut quality but it is fresh and not at all reminiscent of tanning lotion - summer without the stickiness.
The official note composition is as follows: Bergamot, Cardamom, Pink Pepper, Pistachio, Coconut, Jasmine, Tuberose, Ylang Ylang, Tonka Bean, Benzoin, and Amber - a warm, relaxing, sophisticated and sunny fragrance, that will have you longing for a beach and an icy drink. For the sake of comparison, and as I know on paper fragrance notes mean next to nothing - Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Private Blend Eau de Parfum is not worlds apart from Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess; the main difference is that Bronze Goddess is ever slightly more coconut and fruity based. I do think that once Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Private Blend Eau de Parfum launches, it will become one of the best selling Tom Ford scents we have seen in a long while - heck it may even replace Black Orchid.
Look out for Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Private Blend Eau de Parfum launching in the coming weeks, my above bottle is just a tester and not available for sale. Once this does launch I will purchase a full size bottle and update my photos and stockist links, for now I just wanted to share a few thoughts and initial feelings.
I adore TF (Black Orchid forever) and although I love the idea of summer scents, I love deep spicy ones for character. I just got two Jo Malone perfumes for my birthday and tbh I smell 10/10, but then again, you always need more ;)

Well this sounds all kinds of dreamy, like a slightly more grown up version of Bronze Goddess maybe?

I absolutely love Tom Ford fragrances, the Amalfi scent they did was amazing but I just cannot justify the price when there's cheaper alternatives that smell beautiful too!
