Hands up (oh I am ever so witty!) if you have at least one L'Occitane tube of hand cream, bashed and at the bottom of your handbag? Yup me too, from full tubes I have been gifted or bought when feeling flush, to miniature sized tubes that came free with a magazine; they are littered everywhere throughout my house and rightly so they boast such an effective and non-greasy formulation. If you do happen to be a fan, or have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to finally indulge then you may want to bookmark L'Occitane Almond Velvet Hands Hand Cream SPF15 - it's all I want in a hand cream and more,
Before we discuss the formulation (spoiler it is wonderful) can we touch on the packaging and general size of L'Occitane Almond Velvet Hands Hand Cream SPF15 - a whopping 75ml for just £18 which in my opinion is great value and economical, especially if like myself you find yourself applying hand cream several times a day. As to be expected L'Occitane Almond Velvet Hands SPF15 does of course come within a metal tube, a pretty pastel pink tube no less, that will eventually become a little bashed and generally weather worn due to the nature of the packaging; as a side note I have owned several tubes of L'Occitane Hand Creams in the past and other than the odd lid becoming loose, never have I had to deal with a hand cream leakage nor a tube bursting.
As you may have guessed, L'Occitane Almond Velvet Hands SPF15 does indeed rely upon the renewal and regenerating properties of Almond to both care for and protect the hands. The Almond Complex (it smells delicious, sweet and slightly nutty) which is the base of this cream, may help to stimulate collagen production for plumper skin and even reduce fine lines, with a more even skin tone. The triple-action formula aims to smooth, even out skin tone and of course deeply moisturise the skin too, all the while featuring a light, non-greasy and quick to absorb texture. If that is not enough, unlike some other hand creams, L'Occitane Almond Velvet Hands SPF15 does indeed contain broad spectrum protection against UV rays (UVA/UVB). The SPF addition will help shield the skin against environmental damage, premature signs of ageing and of course brown spots.
Keep in mind that due to constant exposure to the elements, the hands are one of the first areas of the body (along with face) to show signs of ageing. It is never too soon, nor late to start protecting the skin and this hand cream is a great start, not to mention surprisingly affordable,
L'Occitane Almond Velvet Hands Hand Cream SPF15 £18/75ml via L'Occitane and will launch this coming April both online and in-store.
Girl your photos here are amazing. This sounds so dreamy x

This hand cream sounds interesting, I do use a hand cream with a high sun protection SPF25 but it doesn't have the renewal benefits as this one...going to look into this.

This sounds like an absolute dream! I can't stop looking at that little ring dish either - seriously cute. xx

My granny bought me my first ever tube of L'Occitane hand cream for Christmas and I've been saving it for a rainy day (aka when I run out of my Christmas one from The Body Shop which seems to be never ending), but I may have to buy this one too. I always forget to apply handcream even though I carry it everywhere, so I definitely need to get one that's going to inspire me to use it.

This is SUCH a pretty handcream! I'm relying on The Body Shop's hemp oil hand cream at the moment, but I think it actually makes my dry patches more flaky rather than less so I'm on the hunt for a new one
