Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions Blemish + Line Correcting Serum has been specifically created to target acne without drying out the skin (it is also oil free to prevent irritation), as well as smoothing out the skin texture - a grown-up solution to acne if you will. In my opinion it is exceedingly light weight and almost (and I do say almost) has a gel-like texture that is instantly cooling and hydrating. It doesn't tingle nor sting the skin (sometimes an issue with blemish targeted products), and in my experience it does not leave the face looking nor feeling greasy - as it is to be applied both morning and night, I do feel this is important. I should also add that when worn under make-up it will not alter the finish, nor wear time.
Rather impressively Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions Blemish + Line Correcting Serum contains a fairly stellar line up of ingredients: to gently exfolaite the skin and encourage cell renewal for brighter and clearer skin there is Salicylic Acid. To boost collagen and elastin levels for plumper and altogether smoother skin the Blemish + Line Correcting Serum contains both peptides and Whey Protein. To calm, soothe and reduce redness the gentle serum has been infused with evening primrose; to brighten and generally rejuvenate the skin caffeine is also present. Lastly Clinique have ensured that this serum doesn't just provide an instant hit of moisture, rather it will encourage the skin to cling onto and retain moisture, long after it has been applied - a clever and quick way to keep the skin comforted and of course hydrated.
At the moment I am fairly line free (I'm in my 20's) but as they say a prevention is better than a cure, and I would rather apply a product specifically designed for my skin type rather than risk irritation. As someone with an oily complexion I rather enjoy that Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions Blemish + Line Correcting Serum gently hydrates my skin without feeling heavy, and to an extent does help to speed up the skin recovery process - aka blemishes heal quicker. Is it a wonder cure? No but then again what is for acne full stop?
Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions Blemish + Line Correcting Serum goes on sale via Boots tomorrow and then nationwide as of the 15th April. It costs £39/50ml.
Wow, this sounds really promising!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I never got acne as a teenager, except when missed a spot when I washed my makeup off at night, but never due to hormones or anything like that. After I became an adult, though, I started getting cystic acne in my 20s, and it's still a problem. I'll look for this serum the next time I visit Sephora; it sounds like something that'll kill two birds with one stone!

Sounds amazing, while I've never had acne i do get hormonal break outs, I'm wary of clinque tho as I've used their stuff previously and it burnt my face. I'll keep an eye out for updates
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a fab product! I'm a big fan of Clinique skincare and I recently purchased the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Treatment also from this line and I'm absolutely in love with it. It has really helped to clear up my skin! xx

This sounds amazing! I can't stand it when spot creams leave nasty dry patches on my skin, so this sounds really fab for me. I love the colour of the bottle too, it's gorgeous xo
