We all seem to be on a Korean beauty kick and rightly so too, affordable and result driven products don't get more exciting like this and as you may have noticed, where Korean beauty leads others often follow. On a whim, I purchased Mizon Hyaluronic Ultra Subbon Cream and hot damn, I'm all but begging you to try this wonderful moisturiser out for yourself.
I will admit that I know next to nothing about Mizon as a brand - well other than that they are Korean and as the title of this post suggests, a product line that won't break the bank. All I know is that I saw a cheap and cheerful Hyaluronic Acid based moisturiser, just shy of £4 on eBay and clicked purchase. The rest as they say is history. In all honesty it is one of the best skincare based decisions I have made in a long while: it is gentle, cooling and my gosh is it hydrating. I've been forcing this navy blue tube on all that will listen, liking it to a cool, tall glass of water for the skin - your face will drink this up and thank you continuously.
Yes Mizon Hyaluronic Ultra Subbon Cream is a deeply nourishing facial moisturiser but without a heavy nor thick consistency, I would best describe this as a gel-come-serum: it applies and spreads with ease, cools, calms and all without a trace of residue nor an oily texture. As you may know, I have oily skin which does mean that certain products sit on the surface of my skin, rather than properly absorbing. Not the case at all with Mizon Hyaluronic Ultra Subbon Cream, it quickly sinks in due to the gel like nature and yet is intense enough for even the driest of skin types (it eradicated a dry patch I had above my eyebrow in three applications). This is of course due to the main component of this moisturiser being Hyaluronic Acid - a stellar ingredient that not only provides hydration but encourages your skin to grip onto additional moisture for plump, softened and supple skin.
I have been applying this at night, in place of a serum for the last month and can report that not only does my wallet enjoy this purchase but so does my skin. It does not break out my acne prone complexion, it deeply hydrates yet doesn't overwhelm and I'm utterly convinced this product is the reason my foundation now sits on my face that little better.
If you treat yourself to one thing this month, let it be Mizon Hyaluronic Ultra Subbon Cream. You can thank me later ha!
