Perhaps a lesser known fact, I am ever so slightly allergic to Cocoa Butter - not so much that I have to avoid it completely but enough for me to forgo Coco Butter centred products. Basically I can tolerate Cocoa Butter in small doses, a lot like shell fish. For years now, many a friend and family member has sang the praises of Palmer's Cocoa Butter and I have missed out, well at long last there is a new and equally skin nourishing range that I can get behind - Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula. Four luxuriously nourishing, affordable and beautifully scented products that you simply must check out.

All four of the Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula additions feature ethically and sustainably sourced Coconut Oil, Tahitian Monoï Oil and Tiaré flower petals. Each one of the natural and raw ingredients have been selected to deliver deep levels of hydration to the skin, all the while being lightweight in texture. If that is not enough to convince you to clear a space on your bathroom shelf, you should also know that each coconut scented product is free from Parabens, Phthalates, Mineral Oil, Gluten, Sulfates and Dyes. I've skipped the Palmer's Body Cream for now but below is my thoughts on the other three Coconut based items.

Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Body Lotion £4/250ml via Boots - link
Let's face it, most of us will have spent the winter snuggled up in various layers of clothing, and be a little guilty of "forgetting" to moisturise our bodies. Same girl, same. If your skin is more than dried out and you are a fan of body lotions then you need to purchase, Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Body Lotion. This luxurious, creamy and thick body lotion is a little like a liquid body butter, it deeply nourishes and hydrates the skin without any greasy residue and most importantly absorbs quickly - no more naked post-shower hurry-up-and-dry body lotion dances. I particularly enjoy the fact that this smells very much like a tropical tanning lotion - perfect for perking up even the coldest of Winter mornings.

Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Body Oil £7/150ml £7 via Boots - link.
For those that are a fan of body oils, the new Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Body Oil does not disappoint. This light, silky and again non-greasy formula will quench even the driest of skin types and may even help prevent stretch marks - a lot like the original Cocoa Butter formulation. I rather like that from the first application, all signs of dry and flaky skin where gone and that my skin felt instantly comforted - I can not recommend it enough. I will admit that unlike the above body lotion, this does take a little longer to absorb into the skin, and if not allowed to dry fully it may stain your clothing. Personally I stash this aside for a little weekend pampering when time is more on my side, other than that there is no faulting this light, tropical scented body moisturiser. I can imagine come the Summer months this is all I will use.

Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Hand Cream £2.40/60g via Boots - link.
I've saved the best until last, this nifty £2.40 hand cream really is the star of the show. Yes, it of course shares the same cheery, beach-y Coconut scent as the other products within the range but the texture is second to none. Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Hand Cream has a thick, balm-like consistency that instantly hydrates and soothes the skin and acts as a barrier against both the elements and water. If you have yet to find a hand cream that continually cocoons your skin in constant moisture, and all without a sticky residue this is what you have been waiting for. This is one heavy duty hand cream that will leave even the most dried out paws soft, silky and fragrant.

Further adding to the good news is that the Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Collection is currently part of a 3 for 2 offer via Boots - link. Your own little slice of tropical paradise awaits.
