Diptyque x Olympia Le-Tan Rosaviola Candle

Diptyque x Olympia Le-Tan Rosaviola Candle

Talk about a match made in heaven - Diptyque and Olympia Le-Tan (a French designer, perhaps best known for quirky, storybook style handbags) have joined forces to create a pretty and irresistible candle. The best part? For once make-up, handbags and home fragrance join forces!

There's no way I can type up a post about the Diptyque x Olympia Le-Tan Rosaviola Candle and not mention the packaging. I feel like thirteen year old me would move heaven and earth to own something so pretty, heck even today the gloriously Barbie-esque packaging makes me weak at the knees. As you can see the Diptyque x Olympia Le-Tan Rosaviola Candle comes presented in a bright pink, frosted glass container - can you think of a more perfect Valentines day gift? What you can't see is that the labels on the glass are in fact fabric badges, motifs that I would hazard a guess in saying that could be removed and added to clothing. That lipstick kiss mark though!

Now that we have that out of the way, can we please talk about the scent? Diptyque x Olympia Le-Tan Rosaviola Candle is a clever concoction, a blend of soft floral notes such as powdery rose and sweet violet, coupled with lipstick and a warm yet buttery leather note? On paper this may seem bizarre but trust me it is perfection and perfectly encapsulates the idea behind the Diptyque x Olympia Le-Tan Rosaviola Candle - to be reminiscent of the inside of a woman's handbag. It was love at first sniff.

I'm sure very few of us need little convincing when it comes to purchasing a Diptyque candle but trust me when I say this is one you don't want to miss. Lipstick, handbags and candles - need I say any more? Get it while you can as like most wonderful home fragrances, this is indeed very much a limited edition launch.
