Tom Ford Fleur de Portofino Eau de Parfum

One of my (many) weaknesses is the Tom Ford Private Blend fragrance line up; if I could afford to, I'd most likely own a bottle of every scent - no guesses on how I'd spend a lotto win huh? At just under £150 per bottle, it is safe to say they don't come cheap and as such, I not only treasure those that I do own but think long and hard, before handing over the cash for any new addition. A Tom Ford Private Blend scent has to all but haunt me and tempt me back to my local counter, time and time again before I admit defeat.

Since last Summer, Tom Ford Fleur de Portofino Eau de Parfum has been constantly engrained on my mind, forever plaguing me to call it a day and make the dreamy blue and gold bottle mine. I was strong, I held out for over six months before dropping dollar on Fleur de Portofino. This is probably the most restrained I have ever been, well if you don't count the time I ordered a slice of cheesecake over the full cake that is. What I'm getting at is Tom Ford Fleur de Portofino Eau de Parfum is pretty darn wonderful, well worth the wait and splurge.

Tom Ford Fleur de Portofino Eau de Parfum

Typically speaking, I would deem the Tom Ford Portofino collection the definition of unisex: cool, refreshing and exceptionally easy to wear. However I do think that Tom Ford Fleur de Portofino was created with a woman in mind, that is not to say for one moment that a male could not and should not wear this. You do you boo!

Tom Ford Fleur de Portofino is a light, aquatic yet white floral blend that will have you dreaming of warm, sun soaked days and foreign adventures. Believe it or not the scent was inspired by the flowers of the white acacia tree that run along the Mediterranean's sun-kissed coast - doesn't that sound dreamy? If I could sum this private blend up in one word it would be refreshing, the clever yet mild blend of citrus fruits, intermingled with Calabrian Bergamot and white floral notes (White Magnolia, Orange Blossom and Jasmine Flower) make this as invigorating as a quick dip in the sea, all without being your typical aquatic fragrance offering (*cough* Cool Waters *cough*).

If that is not enough to tempt you, I can vouch that not only does a little of this divine fragrance go along way but it lingers on the skin all day without ever overpowering. Your imaginary (and daily should you wish) Italian getaway awaits...
