A new year, a new me? Probably not, in my instance it is more probable that a new year equates to new beauty products and lots of them. If you are thinking same, then let me share a few new and exciting products that are set to launch here in the UK (on the most part, some are a little trickier to source than others); if I could offer you one piece of advice, it would be to constantly check in with Sephora's What's New page; it is here I often find out about new beauty launches before anywhere else covers the news.
, A super new and exciting launch is YSL Touche Éclat Le Teint Radiance Awakening Foundation, if the name seems familiar it is because it is an existing YSL foundation re-formulated, complete with a new brush too. This foundation not only comes in a hugely expansive shade range (with a few new shades too) but aims to brighten and prefect. I have been kindly sent a few bottles and can not wait to share a full review - I have a feeling that if you enjoy a glow inducing base, this is one you will find hard to resist.
, Clinique introduced us to not only chubby lip crayons but also contouring sticks, chubby washes of blush and eyeshadow too. Further expanding the Clinique Chubby dynasty is the Clinique Chubby in the Nude Foundations Sticks - I'm hoping that along with the convenience of a solid stick of foundation, that this new launch will offer high coverage. Heck I'm willing to bet that they will double up as a concealer too. I eagerly await this launch.
, Oh how I love Laura Mercier base products, ever impeccable in terms of packaging not to mention they cover so beautifully, without ever feeling heavy on the skin. I can not wait to get my hands on Laura Mercier Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation - medium coverage, soft focus and all with a lit within glow. I'm imagining that this will team wonderfully with my Hourglass blush and powder collection.
, At the moment I am not completely sold on Make Up Forever Ultra HD Concealer as I don't tend to be plagued by dark circles, which is of course what this concealer is intended to resolve. I have however only read good things and with intentions to go on camera maybe it is something I should invest in? I mean I do rather the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation so it makes sense to have a complimentary product, right...right?
, Tarte are one of my favourite brands ever, they never disappoint (well, unless it is a mascara and even then it only seems to be that hates their mascaras) and are forever offering innovative yet utterly wearable formulations. It truly is only a matter of time before I add the Tarte Tarteist Contour Palette to my stash. Rather wonderfully this nifty kit features not only two contour powders but two highlighters (one matte, one shimmer) and a brightening powder.
, While in the US I treated myself to the original Tarte Tartlette Palette, needless to say I utterly adore it and will pop a full review up in the coming days. A lot like the original Urban Decay Naked Palette, it only seems rude not to add to my collection. Logic. In my defence the Tarte Tartelette in Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette is utterly beautiful and loaded with shades I know I'll get a whole lot of use from. The real question is do I wait until I'm next in Sephora or click order now?
, Have you seen the Clinique Sweet Pots? Shaped like macaroons the Clinique Sweet Pots offer not only a sweetly tinted lip balm but also a lip scrub. Kissable lips have never been easier and I really do think these cute balm kits will all we will be talking about in the coming weeks. Again look out for a full review in the coming days.
, If you have had enough of overly shimmer highlighters and crave a light, subtle approach, then you will be excited to learn about the launch of Benefit Dandelion Shy Beam Matte Highlighter. It is super pretty, easy to use and great for adding a dash of muted radiance. You can read my full review and see swatches here - link.
If that is not enough, later this month sees the launch of Hourglass Ambient Strobing Powders which are pretty much an answer to my make-up prayers. So tell me, what is the one new product launch that you are eagerly awaiting?
