Okay so I wasn't around in the 1980's but I'm sure no-one would argue when I say that they bright, florescent, frosted glass bottles certainly have a disco, neon-light vibe? Drawing on a past era for inspiration or not, I'm sure we can all agree that the new DKNY Be Electric bottles are eye catching and a lovely break away from the norm. They don't exactly scream NYC to me but my gosh once you smell this beautiful trio, you truly won't care.
At £37 each I don't imagine many will rush out to purchase all three scents at once, rather you may want to hone in on the fragrance that appeals to you the most. To help make such decision a little easier, let me share my opinions on each of the DKNY Be Electric Eau de Toilettes.
DKNY Be Electric Loving Glow Eau de Toilette
Best described as a sparkling, fruity yet floral scent this soft yet lingering scent contains top notes of: Blackcurrant, Grape, Pineapple, beautifully complimented with heart notes of Jasmine, Violet and Apricot. To ensure that the fragrance clings to the skin there is gentle hints of Vanilla, Amberwood and musk. In my opinion this just screams Spring - it is clean, crisp yet wonderfully uplifting with bright zesty notes and unlike past DKNY Be spin off's, no this is not apple not heavy.
DKNY Be Electric Bright Crush Eau de Toilette
Does anyone recall, DKNY Be Delicious Rio Eau de Parfum? Man, I adored this scent and utterly drained my bottle a few years back, well DKNY Be Electric Bright Crush Eau de Toilette reminds me very much of this past launch. DKNY Be Electric Bright Crush is vibrant, fruity and reminiscent of warm nights spent abroad with a jazzy cocktail in hand. Personally will be savouring this bold, fruity-floral blend for the upcoming balmy Summer nights - who can resist a carefree blend of: Bergamont, Blackcurrant, Peony complimented with creamy Vanilla and Amber. I so wish this was a permanent addition.
DKNY Be Electric Citrus Pulse Eau de Toilette
As the name suggests this is indeed the most punchy and fruity scent of the trio. If ever you need a scent to pick your spirits up this is it. Bright, vivacious and difficult not to enjoy, this day-time appropriate scent begs for a trip to the beach and a flimsy sun dress - gosh I miss the sand and sunshine in general. Until June rolls around DKNY Be Electric Citrus Pulse Eau de Toilette will allow me to dream of Summer, all without splashing out on a flight thanks to notes of: Nectarine, Mandarin, Passionfruit, Jasmine Absolute, Plumeria Blossom and Sandalwood. Gosh, I can practically smell the sunscreen from here.
Sadly the DKNY Be Electric Eau de Toilette (£36/50ml each) is of course limited edition and will not launch until March (nationwide) but trust me, the trio is well worth the wait!
I loved last years, and stupidly missed out on it! So can't wait to get my hands on these ones - glad to here they are going to be good, I dread to choose one out of the 3.

I've always been a HUGE fan of the DKNY perfumes (myny is still my all-time favourite one). I'm hoping these come into store soon so I can try them out. I'm hoping they are as good as the old ones.
