I don't know about you but smaller gifts is where I really struggle; I like to put a lot of thought into each gift and finding smaller yet well consider gifts is not an easy task. If that sounds all to familiar, I have spent a good few weeks rounding up the best dinky stocking fillers that won't break the bank - no suggestion on here is more expensive than £30. Now all you have to do is decide what you are gifting and what you will be keeping for yourself - perhaps the most perplexing task of all.
Bath and Body
The Body Shop Robin Sponge £4 - link
This cute shaped, terry cloth robin is not only practical but utterly adorable. Who knows, this cheery chap may just make early morning showers that little more enjoyable. The perfect gift for all ages!
The Body Shop Frosted Plum Hand Cream £4 - link
Forget snow, rain and general bad weather my biggest bug bear with the season is dry skin. Pop a tube of the deliciously scented The Body Shop Frosted Plum Hand Cream into a loved one's stocking, and let them enjoy gloriously soft skin all year long.
I Love Mini Shower Gels £1 each via Primark
Exclusive to Primark is the dinky, 100ml bottles of I Love...Bath & Shower Cremes in Chocolate and Orange Shower Gel and Gingerbread. Both scents couldn't be more scrumptious nor festive if they tried; at just £1, they are a complete snip as they can be used in the typical shower gel sense or added to running water to create oodles of bubbles.
Invisi Bobble £3.75 per pack - link
What's the one thing you find yourself routing around your handbag for the most? A hair tie - of course. Why not give a loved one the gift of practicality and of course good hair with a pack of Invisi Bobble's; more than a novelty hair product, this hair tie prevents hair damage and can minimise the risk of a tension headache. Everyone needs one.
Home Fragrance
Yankee Votive Sample Candles £1.80 each -link
Everyone loves Yankee candles, right? At just £1.80 each you could select a few festive scents to bulk up a Christmas stocking (I fully recommend Berry Trifle), I'm sure the recipient will appreciate the added ambience after a large, Turkey filled lunch!
Beauty
Tom Ford The Boys Lipstick £27 each - link
Imagine wakening up to a stocking brimming full of Tom Ford The Boys miniature lipsticks - the ultimate dream, am I right? At £27 each my guess is that this is less than likely but you could treat a loved one or two of their favourite lipstick shades and watch their face light up!
Elegant Touch Santa's Rap False Nails £6.95 - link
Forget visiting a busy and often over priced salon and use these funky yet festive nails to create a show stopping look. If you are feeling particularly full of seasonal goodwill, pop a set or two in someone's Christmas stocking.
House of Holland Xmas Xcess False Nails £8.99 - link
In the same vain as above the House of Holland Xmas Xcess False Nails are a great, no fuss yet fun way to decorate your nails this Winter. At less than £10 they also make a wonderful, small gift for the young and the young at heart.
Fragrance
The Body Shop Glazed Apple Shimmer Mist £8.50 (in-store only)
If you have yet to experience The Body Shop's Glazed Apple products, please stop what you are doing and head there, right now. Okay it can wait until the weekend but promise me you will make it a priority? Sweet yet not overly so, slightly candy like and very, very more-ish, trust me to try it, is to fall in love. Treat a loved one to this beautiful and shimmer loaded scent this festive period.
The Library of Fragrance Egg Nog £15 - link
If you are anything like me, you will most likely enjoy the festive period a little too much and look for any excuse to spread festive cheer? What could be more fitting for the season than a Egg Nog Cologne? Warm, slightly spice based (I'm guessing that is the boozy kick), coupled with a creamy base - this is the perfect gift for those who have everything and/or appreciate the more unusual gifts.
As a side note does anyone still hang a stocking on Christmas Eve or is that a tradition that has slowly faded out?
I love elegant touch nails! They are by far my favourite and you're totally right, get two sets ;)! Also with you on the yankee candle, the cinnamon stick is my all-time favourite scent! xx
