I'm going to go on record and say that so far, Cohorted Beauty Boxes are the one subscription plan within the beauty world that never lets me down, and continually pleasantly surprises me. Yes the prices and brands within each box do differ but consistently the contents are great. The December box is no exception (a first as it is a collaboration with a beauty blogger - Thou Shalt Not Covet), let me share what is inside...
Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Ross and Rachel (full size/£28.00)
I have wanted this blush/bronzer duo for what seems like forever and for one reason or the other it has escaped my clutches. At long last I have it and I couldn't be happier, not only is the compact pretty but the shades in person are by far more prettier than I could have imagined. Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Ross and Rachel features a cool toned, somewhat olive tinged bronzer with a small segment of bright pink blush. The idea is that you can wear each shade individually or swirl together to create a warm, bronze glow.
MAC Rebel Lipstick (full size/£15.50)
Another full sized and very much desirable product - MAC Rebel Lipstick. This deep, pinky tinged purple is the perfect seasonal shade that will see you through Winter and beyond. I have yet to slick this on but I'm seldom disappointed with MAC formulations and I'm sure this will be no different.
NARS Pure Sheer SPF Lip Treatment in Lana (full size/£19.50)
A silky, slightly tinted lip balm that not only conditions the lips but also offers an SPF 15 protection too. On the lips this is quite glossy and not overly tinted - a light, peachy glow at most. Truthfully it is not the most intensive of balms and perhaps better stashed away for the warmer seasons.
NARS Flat Concealer Brush (full sized/£24)
A flat, dense, paddle like brush that allows you to apply concealer to both targeted areas such as blemishes, as well as being able to apply concealer to the under eye area etc. Despite being a fairly firm brush this blends both cream and liquid products out rather well.
Marc Jacobs Honey Eau Parfum (sample)
I have tried just about every Marc Jacobs fragrance going and yet Marc Jacobs Honey Eau Parfum is the one scent that has escaped me. My gosh have I been missing out, a light fruity come floral fragrance that is uplifting and instantly reminds of the warmer weather. It is very seldom that a mini perfume sample sells me on a scent and yet Marc Jacobs Honey Eau Parfum has went straight to the top of my wishlist!
A great box wouldn't you agree?
