I've been surprisingly reserved within the Boxing Day sale madness, thus far I have only bought items that I truly wanted and/or needed. I wasn't going to bother posting an edit of the best sale picks that I have found, but as I'm lazing around in my pj's, with no real idea of what day it is and wanted to make myself useful, I thought why not? Put it this way blogging, sure beats doing the washing up.
At the moment the following Real Techniques brush sets are half price or better via Amazon:
Real Techniques Starter Kit £9.99 (usually £20.99) - link
Real Techniques Deluxe Gift Set £12.14 (usually £29.99) - link
Real Techniques Travel Essentials £9 (usually £20.99) - link
Real Techniques Eye Lining Set £7.60 (usually £7.60) - link
Over on Beauty Bay I found:
Nails Inc Gel Polishes reduced from £15 to £8.40 - link
The Laura Geller Berry Glow Collection (which includes the must have blush) reduced from £32 to £19.20 - link
The Make Up Store High Tech Highlighters reduced by £5 - link
Peter Thomas Roth Must Try Kit reduced from £21.50 to £12.90 - link.
Feel Unique seems to be the best choice for nail polishes, with many being half price:
Half price OPI shades at just £6.25 each - link
Half price ncLA polishes at also just over £6 - link
The Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette is down to £36 which is the cheapest I have found thus far - link
As a general heads up, the majority of products on the Feel Unique site are reduced by 10-20%, not a huge mark down as such but a saving none the less.
Debenhams seem to be the best bet for beauty gift sets:
The Benefit Lee Lee's Beauty Secrets worth £60 is now £26 - link.
There is also a great Clinique set that contains two chubby sticks, a mascara and a sculpting blush for just £28 - link.
The Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Gift set worth £77.50 is down to £37.33 which includes a 50ml bottle of fragrance and two bath and body products - link.
The Urban Decay 24/7 Liner Gift (5 pencils) set has been slashed by 33% and is down to £16.66 - link.
The House of Fraser are offering 10% off all of their eye make up palettes - link.
In all honesty I barely perused the Boots or Superdrug sales, I'm sure there was and maybe still is, some great bargains to be had but it is all a little too frustrating wading through, the countless pages of out of stock items. The sooner they add a filter to solve such issue the better...nothing like a first world problem to end a blog post ha!
Happy shopping!
Boxing day sale is just as dangerous as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, haha!

Oh my goodness - you're so right! Why on earth have Boots and Superdrug not found a way to remove out of stock items? It drives me crazy!! Xx

I agree that Debenhams is the best for the beauty sales this year! Last year, LookFantastic had an amazing sale in January so I'm patiently waiting for that! Today I purchased a Lancome set from Debenhams which was filled with Grandiose mascara, eye make-up remover and a mini eyeliner for £16 - what a fab price! Can't wait to try it out and review it. Amazing finds xx

Yeah I got that for 13.10 at John Lewis
DeleteI ordered a couple of first aid beauty kits from Beauty Bay that were around the £15 mark down from £35 because I've been wanting to try the brand for a while. I did an online order from Boots but did it on Christmas eve morning when the sale started-best time to do it to avoid the out of stock issues but even then a few things I added to my basket went out of stock before I checked out. It was mainly to pick up some things for gifts early in the year but I added a couple of things to the basket for myself. I ordered a couple of bits from ASOS before Christmas including a Little Mistress dress that was knocked down from £75 to £22.50 and a beautiful embroidered kimono down from £65 to £26. I definitely think the best bargains were to be found online just before Christmas this year!
