At the moment it does seem like the beauty world has been invaded with festive offerings, be it gift sets or scents; if you have had enough and would gladly see the back of anything spice based may I point you in the direction of two new pretty fragrance collections at L'Occitane. Two new scents that have been created by top pastry chef Pierre Hermé, expect the unexpected.
First up we have L'Occitane Jasmine Immortelle - a light, uplifting floral scent that features notes of Lemon and Petit Grain, Pink Pepper, combined of course with a hint of Jasmine. It is bright, zesty and sparkling - despite this it is not an overly youthful scent, it does have a certain maturity making it the ideal choice for office or formal wear. Despite this the bright floral scent reminds me of the first days of Spring - uplifting, carefree and very easy to wear. The new L'Occitane Jasmine Immortelle range consists of an Eau de Toilette and a Body Lotion - perfect for not only moisturising the skin but also scent layering too.
L'Occitane Jasmine Immortelle may remind me of Spring but L'Occitane Pamplemousse Rhubarb, should be your go to fragrance should you be dreaming of sunny weather. Bright, very fruity and a whole heap of fun - L'Occitane Pamplemousse Rhubarb will be the scent of Summer 2016 for many, you can mark my words on that. This scent is centred around the sharp, tangy and somewhat bitter note of grapefruit, completed with the green and crisp aroma of Rhubarb. This is an usual yet addictive fragrance that is juicy, ripe and the perfect Winter pick me up, a pick me up that will last well into the next two seasons too. Forget coconut, sun cream bases scents this unusual fragrance is what all the cool kids will be wearing come June - okay I say cool, when really I mean me but trust me when I say this is not one to be missed. Again this comes in Eau de Toilette form along with a matching body lotion and shower gel.
You can shop both collections via L'Occitane £14-£46 - link
Both scents sound gorgeous and the packaging is so pretty too! I think I'm going to have to try the Rhubarb Pamplemousse range.
