Maybe it is just me but I do tend to gravitate towards intense and longer wearing fragrances, I oddly find the stronger notes comforting and if chosen correctly, to some extent comforting. A new and somewhat familiar, Winter (or evening) ready fragrance is Dolce & Gabbana The One Essence Eau de Parfum - a richer version of the now iconic Dolce & Gabbana The One Eau de Parfum. If you enjoyed the original trust me when I say you are going to want to try this out next.
Dolce & Gabbana The One Essence Eau de Parfum shares the same notes as the original Dolce & Gabbana The One fragrance, only in a higher concentration - the term luxe perfume was invented for this scent, I can't help but feel glamorous and special when wearing it, even if I am bundled up in a winter coat in the middle of Supermarket. Dolce & Gabbana The One Essence is a deep floral scent that seems to please both men and women - if the compliments I have received are anything to go by. It is a really strong scent and one that lingers on both the skin and clothing ; if you struggle with fragrance lasting power this is well worth testing out for that aspect alone.
The notes of Dolce & Gabbana The One Essence Eau de Parfum are as follows:Top: Bergamot, Mandarin, Lychee, Peach
Heart: Madonna Lily, Lily of the valley, Jasmine
Base: Plum, Vetiver, Vanilla, Amber, Musk
The notes of Dolce & Gabbana The One Essence are fairly complex, with rich vanilla combined with a sparkling floral explosion and complimented by gentle fruity accents. On paper it shouldn't work but it does and despite being intense it is never over powering nor head ache inducing. It is grown up, sophisticated, yet never stuffy. Dolce & Gabbana The One Essence is a classic, a little black dress in the fragrance world that will take you from meetings, to dinner and to a night on the tiles with ease.
You may just want to add it to your list to Santa...it is that good.
