B. Balenciaga Skin Eau de Parfum

Have you ever discovered a fragrance and fell in love? I don't mean like and enjoy wearing, I mean love and simply have to have? Yes I have strong feelings for fragrance and B. Balenciaga Skin Eau de Parfum is the first scent in a long while that I've been obsessed with - no seriously. The soft, almost leathery fragrance, is all that I have been wearing in the last few days. I can comfortably say that it is a new signature scent of mine and of course, a permanent addition to my fragrance wardrobe. Like I said I am obsessed.

I've seen other fellow bloggers rave about the B. Balenciaga Skin Eau de Parfum bottle, now don't get me wrong it sure is pretty but I don't particularly find it all that particularly special. It is in no way tacky: rather it is a pretty, somewhat multi-faceted design that features a blush colour scheme. A very understated and dare I say sophisticated bottle, that dutifully serves its purpose while hinting at the fragrance held inside.

B. Balenciaga Skin Eau de Parfum

B. Balenciaga Skin Eau de Parfum contains notes of: Bergamot, Green Tea, Soya Bean (an odd one huh?) and Lily of the Valley as top notes, coupled with Violet Leaf Absolut, Peony and Iris Root at the heart, and Cedar, Cashmere, Vetiver and Ambrette Seed at the base. In my opinion none of the above notes really stand out, nor dominate the scent, rather they fuse together to create a soft, creamy, floral fragrance that somewhat reminds me of suede. I realise that sounds odd but it has an almost buttery-come-leather note that lingers on the skin; a very sensual fragrance that clings to the skin but never overpowers. Think clean and sexy yet understated and you have B. Balenciaga Skin Eau de Parfum. I can't think of any fragrance to compare B. Balenciaga Skin Eau de Parfum to and do you know what? That is okay, it stands alone and that is most likely why I love it so.
