Twig + Dot Autumn Candles

Autumn is my favourite season - crunchy leaves, crisp weather and a few of my favourite events marked on the calendar. I refuse to give into Winter until late November, I would rather indulge in all things Pumpkin and Apple scented for another few weeks before embracing the Christmas festivities. If like myself you have a certain penchant for the warming, typical scents of Autumn, let me not only introduce you to two warming fragrances but also a new home fragrance brand.

Let's us begin with an introduction, Twig + Dot are a fairly new home fragrance brand on the block but rest assure that they firmly have their finger on the pulse of candle making. From luxury yet affordable, somewhat usual yet welcoming scents, to hand poured soy and mineral blend candles - there truly is something for everyone. I also rather like that Twig + Dot offer a sampling programme, in which you can choose up to four scents to test before purchasing - great if you are fussy, indecisive or simply prefer not to blind buy (candle remorse as I like to call it).

Twig + Dot Autumn Candles

October is when we all become a little basic (I'm a pair of Ugg boots away from becoming a meme) and suddenly stock up on Pumpkin scented, flavoured and shaped everything. Everything. At some point it all becomes a little same-y and we welcome the influx of cinnamon tinged...well everything (you know I'm right). Well if you aren't quite ready for Winter fragrances and long for a different spin on Pumpkin, let me point you in the direction of Twig + Dot Pumpkin Pie. A sweet, creamy, somewhat spicy comforting scent that features notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and molasses, finished with a dash of custard - delicious.

Not quite what you had in mind? Then perhaps Twig + Dot Sugar & Spice is just what you have been waiting for? A scrumptious scent that has been created to invoke memories of home baking (well not those of when I'm in the kitchen away, unless you enjoy the aroma of food burning?). Think of rich yet creamy vanilla bean, set off with a subtle kick of cinnamon - it reminds me a little of sugary cinnamon laced doughnuts and cookies, and thanking the clothing giants for elasticated waistbands.

Beautiful scent descriptions aside, here is what you need to know: Twig + Dot candles burn well and clean, they have a high scent throw and leave traces of their aroma lingering in a room long after they have been distinguished. What more could you want? A beautifully presented candle? Twig + Dot have that locked down with their pretty, chic and clean, white class containers. Need I say more?

You can find Twig + Dot candles via Twig + Dot with prices ranging from £3-£16 - link.
