I have a less is more approach to hair care, other than shampoo, conditioner and the odd blast of dry shampoo I am fairly low maintenance - unfortunately my laissez faire attitude can result in split ends and generally wild looking hair. I will only entertain products that are light weight and easy to use, I don't have the energy nor patience to faff around with heat or detailed instructions (you should see me build Ikea furniture, it really is a treat). I was recently gifted a bottle of Oribe Gold Lust Oil and have to say I am impressed, the price tag not so much but as you only need a tiny amount I guess it is somewhat justifiable.
Oribe Gold Lust Oil is a light, silken, non-greasy hair oil that has been created to deeply nourish and hydrate the hair - it contains a blend of: jasmine, edelweiss flower, lychee, sandalwood, cassis, bergamot and argan oil extracts (it smells incredible) to inject moisture directly into the hair shaft. Due to the lightness of the oil, it is able to hydrate without weighing down the hair or leaving behind any sticky/greasy residue. Rather it offers a shiny, natural coating that tames, frizz, flyaway hairs and with continued use it can help to repair damaged hair structures - nothing beats a good trim though.
If that is not enough, Oribe Gold Lust Oil is a great multi-tasker it offers thermal protection against heated tools such as curling tongs and hair straighteners, reduces drying time and is safe to use on colour treated hair. If anything I'd say it helps brighten my hair colour a little rather than dulling it down and does aid the combing out of knots, pretty much the hair oil that keeps on giving.
As mentioned above, all of the aforementioned benefits would be lost on me if Oribe Gold Lust Oil required a huge list of directions to follow, in order to get the best results. Nope, rather all you have to do is work through the ends of damp hair and style as normal. Perfect for all those fellow low maintenance hair care advocates out there.
