Monthly Beauty Favourites

I'm sure just about every monthly favourite post that will pop up on various platforms in the coming days will state in some form, an utter disbelieve that it is now October. Annoyingly (or maybe not) I am also one of those people - in all seriousness this year has escaped me but I am glad we are into my favourite season, Autumn. Gosh I am a blogging cliché at times. Anyway let me share what I have been enjoying recently and why...

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Repair Lip Balm
My lips are really dry and prone to cracking at the moment, I'm not entirely sure why as it really isn't all that cold at the moment. Regardless they are a mess and the only product that seems to be working is my trusty pot of Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Repair Lip Balm; it heals, soothes and nourishes in one quick step - what more could you ask for?

Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar Eye Cream
As you may know I have fairly sensitive eyes, I have to be careful what I apply and when to prevent streaming, irritated eyes. Truthfully I did not expect to find a comforting, moisturising come renewing product that would suit my eyes via Philosophy yet here we are. Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar Eye Cream is a rich yet light weight cream that quickly absorbs to plump, refresh and moisturise the eye area. It really is a delight to apply and use.

Bed Head Joyride Texturizing Powder Balm
All of my intensive conditioning treatments have paid dividends, my hair is now beyond soft and a little more manageable than usual. The only downside is that it is now so soft that it is verging on flopping making it a task and a half to style. To add a light grit and texture to my locks, without any residue nor weighing my hair down, I have been relying on Bed Head Joyride Texturizing Powder Balm. This lightweight gel works wonders, it adds texture and somewhat polishes all without ever looking heavy nor greasy. The perfect product for soft haired guys and gals.

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter
Say what you want about Strobing, I am entirely on board - any trend that allows me to merrily slap on highlighter is a-okay in my book. Speaking of such I have been dusting on The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter almost daily, this muted Champagne shade is beautifully illuminating. Does not settle into any open pores and generally adds a healthy glow to the skin. If intense, look at me highlighters are your bag - you need to give this a whirl.

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Lavish Mauve
As I have been a little slap dash with highlighter over the last few weeks, I have been a tad more muted in my blush choices. One blush I can not recommend enough is Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Lavish Mauve - a dusky bronze come plum that is ideal for the Autumn/Winter months. No it is not the most pigmented blush out there but it does add a healthy, just pinched appearance that is so easy to wear.

D&G Perfect Mono Cream Eye Colour in Antique Rose
At the moment I have been favouring cream eyeshadows, anything that is long wearing and easy to apply is always going to win me over. I never for one moment thought I'd be someone who could or would wear pink eyeshadow until I tried D&G Perfect Mono Cream Eye Colour in Antique Rose. This beautiful, muted bronze tinged pink come mauve really brings out the blue in my eyes - without giving an irritated appearance. As an added bonus once applied it truly does stay put, with or without a primer. I can not recommend the formulation enough.
