New DKNY Be Desired Eau de Parfum

New DKNY Be Desired Eau de Parfum

I know I am not alone in saying that I am a huge fan of the DKNY Be Delicious franchise, sweet smelling, slightly fruity scents that brighten up any day and as far as premium fragrance goes rather affordable. As you may or may not be aware each festive season, DKNY typically launch a trio of limited edition fragrances well this year the script has somewhat changed. In place of limited edition scents we have one new permanent addition in the form of DKNY Be Desired Eau de Parfum.

New DKNY Be Desired Eau de Parfum

DKNY Be Desired Eau de Parfum comes presented within the round come apple shaped, iconic bottles that we have all come to know and love from the range. The scent itself is not far removed from the original DKNY Be Delicious Eau de Parfum, the main difference is that DKNY Be Desired Eau de Parfum is more intense and features a far more noticeable floral kick. Think of it as the younger, floral based, hip, sister to your favourite scent. I have no doubt in my mind that you will more than enjoy the new launch, if you happen to be a fan of the original - it is entirely addictive.

New DKNY Be Desired Eau de Parfum

As mentioned above this does have the same green, apple based notes we have all come to know and love from the DKNY Be Delicious only it is more floral based with notes of sparkling Orange Oil, tart Blackcurrant, dewy Violet and iced Grapefruit layered over a bouquet of Jasmine Sambac, Turkish Rose, Cedarwood and Amber Wood - it really is quite the bright, fruity come floral explosion. I'm a great believer in wearing what you want, when you want but if pushed I would say this is a Spring/Summer scent - bright, lushly green, refreshing and floral. A complete and utter hit, yes but one I will be stashing away for warmer, brighter days - that being said it would make a great pick me up for any dull Monday morning.

DKNY Be Desired Eau de Parfum will launch nationwide on the 14th of October (2015), will cost £37-£59 and come in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml bottles.
