Make Your Own Conditioning Sea Salt Spray

Perfect beach-y waves are the ultimate hair goal for many; the problem is that to create such style, more often than not you will need a sea salt spray. A spray that more often than not is drying to the hair, an expensive spray that you may not use all that often? Well, why not create your own - a hair treatment created for your own needs, that is fully natural and conditioning to boot. All you need is water, coconut oil and of course sea salt. Cheap, cheerful and of course easy to make.

Make Your Own Conditioning Sea Salt Spray

What you will need:
A spray bottle
One tablespoon of sea salt
One tablespoon of coconut oil
50ml of water (or enough water to fill your chosen bottle)

1, In a pot combine the water and sea salt, over a light heat on the stove gently stir until the salt completely dissolves.
2, In a separate pot gently melt the coconut oil (you can also zap this in the microwave).
3, Combine the melted oil and salt water, shake and gently pour into the bottle.
4, Mist onto wet hair, scrunch and enjoy your new soft waves.

If you have particularly stubborn or thick hair that doesn't hold a wave, you can up the salt quota to two tablespoons. The same applies if you require additional moisture, add a spoonful more of coconut oil or even a little of your favourite conditioner to the mix.
